It's a short drive into Abingdon so good for us as we wanted quiet but reasonable proximity to the town. Kevin, our host was very helpful in getting us settled in and making us feel welcome.

Very disappointing experience — heating issues and discriminatory behaviour I stayed in this flat last week and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The heating wasn’t working during my stay, and I was unwell with a cold, so I called the person responsible for the flat to ask for help. Instead of taking my concern seriously, he commented on my accent and said that “foreigners from warm countries” often complain that the flat is cold. He only took the issue seriously after my boyfriend, who has a local accent, spoke to him instead. This was an upsetting and inappropriate response — no guest should be dismissed or treated differently because of their accent or background. The heating issue itself was never properly addressed, which made the stay uncomfortable. I would not recommend this property, especially to international guests.

Well equipped, bigger than expected and a bath and a shower. Lots of towels, free parking and really easy to understand instructions

Location ok but in the middle of an ok residential area. Bedding arrangements fine. Fully stocked kitchen.

Brilliant location, close to the river Thames and an easy walk into the town or a gentle walk the other way along to the Marina. The flat was well-equipped and clean as a whistle. Very good selection of channels on the TV! Handy shop 5 minutes walk away. Easy access to A34. Excellent little flat for me as I was travelling alone, or for 2 people.

The location was excellent, being close to the River Thames. We spent 5 days walking the Thames Path, taking advantage of the local bus services to get to our starting point and return from our finishing point each day. We were fortunate to meet our host, Kevin, who was friendly and welcoming.
