“Wonderful Castle Hotel.”

The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building. The room was spotless and very thoughtfully furnished. There was a large and comfortable dressing table with a mirror, a comfy chair, and a hairdryer always ready to use. The room also included a kettle, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, mugs, and glasses for juice. There was even a separate table for preparing drinks. A comfortable sofa and a very luxurious large bed with fresh-smelling bedding made the stay especially relaxing. The bathroom was perfectly clean with a modern shower. Blinds and curtains provided great privacy. Downstairs there is a pub with live music at weekends. It did not disturb the peace and quiet at all, as everything finished at a very reasonable hour. The nights were calm and peaceful. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The location is wonderful — close to the town centre, just a few steps from South Beach, and only a few minutes’ walk from Tesco. I felt very safe during my stay. Highly recommended.

Staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful. Room was immaculate. Very close to seafront and town centre.

“A nice room and location great for a two night stay”

On arrival the staff member was very helpful. My husband and I had a comfortable clean room, with a very small compact bathroom, but good for what we needed. Bed very comfortable. My father’s room was upgraded before arrival and it met his needs. He had a bigger room and bathroom. Nice touch of having bathrobes and lovely white towels. Tea and coffee facilities were great and plenty of choice, which was replenished the following day. The hotel was near the sea front and castle, great for walking to the town and along the promenade. Parking spaces outside which was very convenient.

Comfy beds good shower great hotel but a bit pricey for just 3 nights… it’s a fair walk to shops and pubs etc but I didn’t have an issue, overall loved my stay👍🏻

Deceiving from outside the rooms are very good and up to date with all facilities and having pub downstairs was great you can not hear anything when in room from downstairs
