The Cottage offered us a special experience. Its location is really beautiful and uplifting with wonderful views across hills. It’s part of a working farm and in a group of other cottages and converted farm buildings which give a warm community feel.

Cottage was beautiful, location was a little disappointing in the fact we had to drive to walk the dogs, was nice and cosy dogs really enjoyed the walks. Had a lovely chilled out few days

“Hidden gem”

Stunning cottage very spacious, felt like we went back in time,when we were kids and spend time in auntie's farm house. Two xl size bedrooms and one small. There was everything you may need and felt like real home. Evenings we enjoy spending a time in a hot tub (water was clean! which is not always that obvious). 5* communication with lovely landlady Rachel. If you looking for a hidden gem and not too far from the town and amenities then this is it ☺️

We where let down at the last minute with our booking but glad we where! What a find The Cottage was. Super location. Garden perfect for two children and a dog. We didn’t want for anything and the treat of freshly laid eggs very much appreciated.

A great location just outside Abergavenny. Ideal for walking or visiting attractions in the area. Rachel kept in touch. Friendly emails, always replied promptly. Place had plenty of parking. It also had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had a very comfortable stay 😀

Cosy, welcoming cottage that catered really well for our needs as a group of 3 friends. Friendly comms from the owner. Great location, easy to find following directions provided. A great base for us to explore the area.

The kitchen was well equipped, the house light and airy; the beds comfortable. In a rural location and yet very close to shops, cafes, galleries and Castle in Abergavenny. The host/s could not have been more welcoming and charming.

The farm house is well set up with a large kitchen table, lounge and good bedrooms. The country views from the upstairs bedrooms are lovely. It was quiet. Local pubs and Abergavenny were good to visit and good hills for walking nearby

The cottage is set in a collection of farm buildings on a working sheep farm. There are Shetland ponies and chickens around and guinea fowl wandering everywhere. The host and her staff were extremely welcoming and helpful for any requests we had. The cottage inside and out is very quaint with all the items we needed for 5 people and a number of friends and relatives visiting over our 3 weeks stay. Climbing Wisteria plants in full bloom on the back of the cottage welcomed us and by the time we left the kitchen windows were framed by opening pink roses. The local area is full of things to do from the "Big Pit" underground experience, market days in Abergavenny, the tiny country roads to get lost in and a myriad of villages, castles and country pubs and inns to replenish us. The local canal on the hillside is a lovely place for a gentle walk and watch the wildlife. We will be back, already booked in fact. The owner was so accommodating I can't thank her enough. Comfortable, spacious, kitted out with everything we needed.

I loved everything about the place. It was spotless and everything was well provided for even salt and pepper which pleased me like anything:) Beds were comfortable and we were given more than enough towels. Property had provided two televisions which was also what was well enjoyed by my family. Wifi was great. Parking was very easy and property was very easy to find. There was a proper rural feel to it which i always seek for when booking any cottage. I know I will be going over and over again. It is Fantastic. Rachel was very approachable and communicated all the important information from the time of booking till the very end. Thanks for making our trip really really good. Tahira
