“Amazing property with fantastic views”

The location is phenomenal with amazing views. Great big grounds space. Barn house is just gorgeous with everything you need. Owner Marion is super helpful and her two dogs are just adorable, close to Abergavenny for food shops etc and easy access to Brecon beacons

“Idyllic Barn Stay”

The setting was truly beautiful and from the minute we were welcomed by the host we knew it was perfect. Everything you could need for your stay and very homely and comfortable. From the beams to the wooden floors and wood burner the barn has been lovingly restored and could not be faulted. Set in a glorious location and so relaxing.

A beautiful property. Well maintained, clean, comfortable with all the conveniences of home. The owner was very welcoming and was on hand for support if needed. The log fire was lit for our arrival which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

“Luxury barn conversion, incredible experience”

This experience was like stepping into a Christmas movie scene. The barn is incredibly well designed, decorated and furnished. We loved the log fire, the giant bath with skylight view, the balcony, kitchen, range oven & beautiful dining table, comfortable beds and sofas… it was so so special!

“Relaxing, peaceful and calm”

We loved the country feel and space in the barn. It was definitely a home from home as it had everything for every eventuality and a well stocked kitchen. Chocolates, wine and milk left for us was a lovely touch. Marion was welcoming, kind and friendly and approachable if we needed to ask anything. We are not dog people but they had 2 of the loveliest, well behaved dogs. Our son absolutely loved playing with them!! The barn was positioned well to travel out from and explore the area. It was peaceful and so dark at night that we slept so so well.

Charismatic barn conversion,lovely old stone and timber ,beautiful location with a view that would never get tired. Marion the owner who lives adjacent to the barn is an absolute gem and nothing is too much trouble. Even had a night time visit off a couple of bats.

Pentre Barn is a haven of tranquility. It is a beautiful building in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Marion who lives in the adjoining building was lovely. She provided tea, coffee, milk and other extras when we arrived. We loved our time at Pentre Barn and will return!

Marion was so lovely. The clbarnbis absolutely beautiful with great views from the balcony and patio areas. The interiors are very charming. Love the fireplace and the well kitted kitchen. The home has been tastefully decorated so it has everything you need and provides the barn experience. The dogs were super friendly.

Everything about our stay at Pentre Barns was just perfect. Marion, our host, could not have been more welcoming putting everyone at ease, we felt at home instantly. Even the dogs made us all feel welcome! The accommodation was beyond expectations and again Marion could not do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. The barn has been converted to an exceptionally high standard. The barn is beautifully clean, all the bedrooms had exceptional views across the valley, gorgeous bathrooms, fabulous kitchen with everything you need. There is plenty of hot water for showers on those cold days and a lovely warm log fire. We all want to come back again very soon. Marion was also very understanding when, by mistake, we took one set of keys home with us - could not have been kinder. We loved Pentre Barn and Marion.
