A Lovely place in the Brecon Beacons

Lovely place in a beautiful location. It had pretty much everything you'd need for a short break. Good position and easy walk across fields to Govilon. Good for walking straight from the house. The owners were very approachable and quick to respond.

Excellent property - wish we could have stayed longer.

The barn was such a high standard property and we loved the hot tub. There were amazing views of the mountains from the property with plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend this property. The owners were very quick to respond to any queries. The property was close to the main town of Abergavenny and easy access to the Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Blorenge Mountains and Llanthony Priory.

The accommodation is actually more luxurious than even the photos let on. Everything is immaculate. The hot tub is nicely sheltered and I sat one night in rain drizzle until 1 am after my long drive just soaking and enjoying the fairlylit atmosphere. Waking up to sheep blaring is perfection while having a cup of coffee or another dip in the hot tub. Nice walks and area to explore but you almost don't want to leave. My kittie traveled with me and was very happy and comfortable there.

Great location, excellent views, well furnished and equipped….highly recommend.

First class location and accommodation, beautifully finished, we met the owners who were helpful and welcoming. We stayed during the hottest summer in living memory,(July 2025), which ( through no fault of the owners) meant that this charming converted farm building was uncomfortably hot especially upstairs. ( a fan was provided but, this was an exceptionally hot week and we struggled to sleep) . This is NO fault of the owners, just Mother Nature. The property is very well equipped, we suggest you visit the Sugar Loaf vineyard, fantastic views and a great menu, the Italian restaurant in Abergavenny( near the old market), the dining in the Angel hotel in Abergavenny is highly recommended ( but somewhat expensive), walks along the canal, and the old railway line close to the accommodation ( easy and picturesque). We are already planning a return visit, we highly recommend this property, hot tub at sunset, with a “suitable liquid refreshment “ …..yum.
