“Disappointing b&b”

The location was good for a short walk into Abergavenny, the breakfast was excellent 👍 The sitting room cabin was acceptable with a kettle and toaster

It is a lovely place to take a rest.Its quite quirky but really enjoyed our stay. Sarah's attention to detail is amazing.Will definitely be going back.

I stayed in the shepherds hut and it was lovely and warm, very clean and cosy. Everyone was very helpful and lovely and the added bonus of the private area that acts as a living room was amazing! The breakfast was ready when I woke up and it was also a great selection.

I loved the next to nature feel and the sense of adventure about it!

“Gracious Host, Convenient Cabin for Hikes”

Sarah was a friendly and gracious host. Check-in was very easy and Sarah was quick to answer any questions. The hot breakfast was delicious and sustained me during a day of hiking. The Shepherd's Hut stayed a very comfortable temperature even without the heating. Everything was clean and tidy. The location is down a quiet residential street, with hiking trails at the end of the road. It is an easy 10 minute walk into Abergavenny town centre. There is a very large school opposite the accommodation, so outside term time driving is easy, but during term time, maybe avoid pick-up and drop off times to avoid traffic.

It was very quirky, which I really liked. The owner was lovely and the decoration of the rooms really pretty and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend to friends.

“A new experience”

A bit apprehensive at first because I thought I would be in a random field somewhere... As it transpires it is someone's large back of house area.... Really safe, excellent host, within walking distance of Aber and very quirky.

I liked the whole set up of having, for the length of my stay, access to three chalets for sleeping, dining/cooking/relaxing and for washing etc. Close to nature too. Sarah was a friendly and helpfulhost who provides a very generous breakfast. The location is very convenient for the town facilities which can be accessed by foot in ten minutes.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this forest cabin. It was incredibly cozy, peaceful, and quiet—the perfect getaway. The breakfast was a delightful surprise and absolutely delicious! The host was very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We will definitely be back this summer. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
