“A comfortable & well-appointed house with much attention to detail; we chose carefully & chose well.”

Host was waiting for us and advised us on best parking. The garbage and recycling arrangements were clarified as well as the operation of door and window locks. There was a generous provision of a welcome pack of breakfast items. There was also a selection of bottles of modestly-priced good quality wine on an honesty box basis, which we didn't need, as we had come prepared, but for other parties this could be really helpful. The hot tub would be a nice facility on some possible future occasion, but we had not booked it, as we did not expect to have time to use it. The location is quiet and the garden nice and private.

Beautifully decorated, warm and cosy . Beval cottage is beautiful, so much thought has gone into everything it really is home from home. The beds were so comfy the lounge cosy and the hot tub so welcome after our 16km round walk up sugar loaf. We will Definately br back and I’ve already passed the details to other friends.

We loved our stay. Really homely, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Super dog friendly and even had a dog flap and bowls. Was also a hot tub which we agreed use of and glad we did. Great communication with the hosts. Would definitely recommend the property for a getaway whether exploring the countryside or town and would stay again.

Beval cottage was in a good location for us to attend a two day family wedding. The location was quiet and had a lovely garden to relax in and comfy beds. Didn’t have time to see the surrounding area, other than travelling to the wedding venue but the countryside is beautiful.

Perfect location for the town, for walking sugar loaf and attacking the tumble

Bevel Cottage is a gem. Very nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Towels, bed linen etc is such good quality. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cutlery and a nice crockery, not always the case. The hot tub was a hit with adults and kids. Alan met us & explained everything, when we had a query about the hot tub he called in. Great location for an easy walk into Abergavenny town.

What a cosy, clean,quirky cottage. Lovely garden area with hot tub.We booked as a base for a Wedding in a nearby venue. Ideal central location and a lovely little town, lots of other places to visit nearby.
