The location was superb. A short walk to the beach; fantastic views towards Edinburgh across the Firth of Forth; train station close by; a lovely village vibe and of course a fantastically welcoming, well designed house, full of comfort and quality.

The property was finished to a standard. An exceptional welcome hospitality pack was welcome. Little details showed a real care for the guest.

Loved the location. And cottage was so comfortable and beautiful, Loved each room had its own bathroom.. Anne was also so responsive, especially when I had an issue with the overflow pipe in the bath water coming through one of the lights in the kitchen.. But she promptly replied that she would get a plumber to look at it ASAP..

Absolutely brilliant weekend in this property in Aberdour. We were away for an Xmas trip 🎄 to visit family and this was perfect. The owners were lovely and had put up a Christmas tree in the property. Everything was well kitted out and always warm! The property is spacious and brilliant that every bedroom has an en-suite. Beautiful location right by the beach and very easy connections into Edinburgh. Lovely vibes and we would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Blacksands Seaview Cottage. The house itself is very spacious, clean, and cosy, with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. The location is perfect, peaceful, close to the sea, and even with some nearby construction work, we couldn’t hear any noise at all.

The location is great, it's very near to the beach. Very clean accommodation. Good quality of finish. A great view of Edinburgh over the other side of the water. A delightful, peaceful, place to stay. We'll definately be going back there again! 👍

We stayed in this cottage with our family on July 29-30, we are very happy that we rented this cottage. Because the location of this apartment is on the coast, the sea is visible from the bedroom window, the rooms, beds are very clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, each room has a private bathroom. In the garden there are various flowers and a trampoline for children to play and a mini football field. There is a private parking lot for the car. We got up early in the morning and walked along the seashore. Overall, it was a very good cottage worth the price. Many thanks to the owner who made all the necessary arrangements for the guests.

“Lovely break in a perfect house”

The house was perfect for us. It was beautifully decorated and had a spacious living room and bedrooms. All of the bedrooms were ensuite, which was brilliant for 2 children and a disabled adult, who were part of our family group of 5. It was so near to the beach and a lovely park, and also handy for Burntisland and Deep Sea World, which the children were keen to visit. There was a very nice welcome pack as well. For a person with limited mobility, it was a very short distance from the car to the front door, and it had handrails fitted to the whole staircase, which was great. We had a lovely little cafe at the end of the road and a general store on the main street which was open till 8.00. It was a typical Fife village with very narrow streets, but as long as you took your time, it was fine. There wasn't a lot of parking on the street but we had been forewarned about this by our hosts and given advice how to manage it, so we always managed to park our car at the house during our break.. Again, this is very typical of Fife coastal villages, so it didn't come as a surprise. The house fitted all of our needs perfectly and we had a wonderful break. We will definitely be back and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Property in great location in the village - a few hundred metres to the beach in one direction and a similar distance to the High Street and station. It was spacious, comfortable and well maintained - the beds were very comfortable! Good communications form the owners and easily contactable. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay at Seaside Place.
