“My first choice for my next stay in Aberdeen”

The hosts Mandy and Nigel were absolutely and genuinely awesome. Breakfast was such a fantastic way to start everyday . Beautifully maintained inside and out.Excellent room facilities.

“Outstanding Guest House with Service That Goes Above and Beyond!”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cedars Guest House, made all the more memorable by the genuinely welcoming hosts. Check in was refreshingly personal with no codes or fuss, just a friendly meet and greet before being shown to our room and left to settle in. The room itself was spotless, comfortable and far better equipped than many modern hotels. With a mini fridge, daily housekeeping and impressively fast Wi-Fi (250MB download speed tested in Room 9), it is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. I assume the hotel is soundproofed as I never heard any other guests - except the usual closing of a bedroom door which was never loud or late at night. Close enough to the centre for convenience, yet far enough out to avoid the rush hour chaos, it really did strike the perfect balance. My bed was incredibly comfortable and the added touch of an under sheet did not go unnoticed. Rooms have central heating and fully opening windows. Shower gel, soap and shampoo is also provided along with tea, coffee, biscuits and a hairdryer. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional. Once again greeted warmly, I ordered poached eggs on toast with bacon and black pudding, all clearly locally sourced and cooked beautifully. I had asked for English mustard, but only Dijon was available. Not an issue at all, but later that day, as I passed the breakfast room, a jar of English mustard had been placed out ready for the next morning. That level of thoughtfulness is true customer service. Parking was free and available onsite. The two front spaces are a little tight if you're driving a large vehicle, but there is plenty of additional parking at the side and rear we were advised, so it is nothing to be put off about.~ In summary, a perfect stay hosted by people who are obviously passionate in what they do, and genuinely care. I am already looking forward to returning. Thank you again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cedars Guest House. Getting to the city centre either by bus or walking was easy and both the hosts were super friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast every morning and the comfy beds. If I return to Aberdeen anytime in the future, this will be the first place I'll check for vacancies.

The facilities, breakfast and location are superb. Easy to get into the centre of town by public transport or walking. The hosts Mandy and Nigel were brilliant and it was a pleasure to stay at Cedars. I will definitely be back.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The room was large, very clean, and thoughtfully arranged for comfort. The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel at ease immediately. Both mornings started with a freshly prepared breakfast that was both tasty and satisfying. We couldn’t have asked for more!

“A Marvelous Place to Stay in Aberdeen”

The Cedar Guest House is a Victorian house built in 1906. It has been totally renovated and is very comfortable. We stayed in the Bennachie room, which was on the main floor. It was tastefully decorated with a double bed, a wardrobe, a couch, a coffee table, a desk, and a chair. It had a kettle with coffee and tea and we received cookies every night. The bathroom was large with a lovely walk-in shower. We were given a made-to-order breakfast every morning. Your choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans toast, coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Our room was cleaned every day and received fresh towels daily. The owners Mandy and Nigel were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again, should we return to Aberdeen. They also have off-street parking. If you're traveling with family or friends, they have 10 rooms available.

The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The accomodation is exceptional, and the breakfast offers varied choices. It is easy to reach the city center by bus.
