A beautiful house, tastefully restored, in lovely countryside overlooking the ruined Cistercian Abbey at Abbeyshrule. Not just an idyllic setting, but also featuring wonderful hospitality from Susan our host, a lovely bedroom with comfy bed and well equipped bathroom and a great hearty breakfast. Thank you so much Susan for a lovely stay-and we shall most certainly be returning.

Late arrival was heartly welcomed. The Landlady was extremely helpful and informative over the area. Breakfast was tasty, full Irish was filling, maybe a variety sauces would enhance the meal.

Everything was first class and hosts are very welcoming

The host were very helpful they have done a marvellous job converting the old barracks.Great location for a nightaway.The Rustic Inn just across the river.

Abbeyview House B&B is the perfect place to relax in the middle of nature. I would like to highlight the beautiful and spacious house, with its impressive bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality of our hosts. Fully recommended.

Beautiful house in the middle of the countryside. Perfect place to spend a night relaxing and enjoying the comfort of the beautiful house and peacefulness. Very welcoming family. Home away from home and our little dog was also welcome. Lovely breakfast - fresh and tasty. We will be back!

Hidden little gem

“A stunning Irish escape!”

Beautiful home in the countryside, woke up to such a gorgeous view! Some of our party stayed in the home and myself and my partner stayed in one of the cabins, the room in the home was beautiful and the cabin was absolutely stunning, cosy in the very cold weather and everything was provided, Susan was even so kind to allow all of us to have breakfast together in the morning even though in the cabin we were due to be self catering. Clearly a loved family home and could’ve chatted to Susan all day. Absolutely loved our short stay, and such lovely hosts, thank you again!
