“Blackhill Woods Retreat is a very relaxing house immersed in nature.”
Blackhill woods retreat provided us with a very relaxing peaceful environment after attending a family funeral locally. Éilish the host was most friendly and accommodating to us, allowing my daughters a delayed checkout.

The house is located in a beautiful area near very cute small towns. Simon and his family are lovely and provide delicious breakfast to your room by request. I would definitely recommend this stay for an unforgettable getaway!

I had a magnificent suite. Went for a beautiful walk in the woods, had a beautiful hot bath with the handmade bath salts. The bed was wonderful and comfortable and the breakfast (extra cost of 15 euro) was really delicious. Loved that I found this place. So perfect!

“We didn't stay there was no one to receive us when we arrived door was locked walked around the Prem”
There was no one there I walked around the property even the outbuilding no one there no one in the house the surrounding area looked unkempt We expect a refund of our monies as we had to get alternative accommodation.we had paid in advance so we believe the other party didn't keep their part of the contract

Loved everything about this place.Quite ,tranquil location.Calming to the nervous system.Room was big and airy with the most comfortable bed.There was the most interesting mini library in the room.Simon is a great host,warm and friendly.Highly recommend adding breakfast which was delicious and is delivered to your room.
