“Quiet and Decent Stay”
The hotel has a very local feel. Abashiri is a small town and most guests staying at the hotel are for work rather than for leisure. It has basic decent amenities to meet our needs. Location is quiet and behind the hotel there is a supermarket. Across the road from the JR station and there are few eateries operating round the vicinity. Need to do an 8-10mins drive to go into the town center for more meal options and shopping. Hotel is located conveniently to access places of interest Hotel offers parking on site. However, if the carpark is full, they have another carpark plot 5mins away to cater to overflow. We spent 2 nights

“Enjoyable, comfortable stay.”
Good sized room for Japan with a nice view across the river. Coffee machine in the lobby and small table with two chairs means you can comfortably have coffee in your room. Close to Abashiri JR station and rental car outlets with free parking.

“fix the internet!”
Very lovely staff, accommodating me waiting in the lobby for my train even after checking out. Extra pillow given when asked. Easy central location for train station. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet!

“Really close to the station!”
When I arrived by train, it was raining, but I didn't even bring out my umbrella - I just waited under station's roof until the traffic lights changed and then went directly to the hotel in the matter of seconds. Barely got wet. You can hear station's announcements from the hotel's room, though (with the open window) - for me it was fine, but some people may get annoyed. And while the city's main attractions aren't close to the station, there isn't really any central point to the city - the museums are on the one side, the port and shops are on the other, so the station gets you a nice central location in-between. And bus stops very close.
