Overview
Surrounded by mountains and fields of grass, guests at Farm Inn Anima no Sato stay in simple accommodations. Guests can experience living at a farm and make handmade crafts. JR Abashiri Train Station is a 5-minute drive and Memanbetsu Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Guests stay in Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding or in Western rooms with carpeted floors and Western beds. Each room comes with heating facilities and a TV. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Anima no Sato Farm Inn is a 5-minute drive from Abashiri Jail Museum and a 10-minute drive from Okhotsk Ryuhyo Museum. Tentozan and Konokuchi Bus Stop is a 5-minute walk away. Homemade Japanese and Western seafood dishes are served for dinner and a Western set menu with warm bread for breakfast. All meals feature local ingredients and are served at the dining room. Guests can experience feeding horses and sheep, or gather vegetables from the garden. A coin-launderette and drink vending machines are on-site. Free parking is available.

“Super friendly host”
Hosts are so warm and welcoming. Breakfast is a must have. More variety than most hotel breakfast buffets.

The host was incredibly kind in giving us a lift to many different places, at his own suggestion. We managed to immensely enjoy abashiri from this location. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed for their age. Beds were comfortable enough. Couldn't fault the breakfast.

“Lovely place, would visit again”
Breakfast was brilliant, staff were very friendly and accommodating (i.e. I wasn’t driving and they very kindly helped me get to supermarket/museums when the weather was awful)

“Walking distance to Abashiri Kangoku museum”
Perfect pick for visiting Abashiri Kangoku, which is a walking distance. The host Akira san is very helpful and very fast in replying messages. Thank you for suggesting an interesting route to our next destination. Sakura no Taki was amazing.

“Favourite accommodation in our 3 week visit to Japan”
Peaceful, beautiful location. Spacious room which seemed recently renovated. Extremely kind hosts. Breakfasts excellent, and we had 2 evening meals, which were superb.

Owner was super friendly and helpful! Room was spacious!! There was a white horse outside the house too~ It’s the cutest little place like coming out of a fairy tale~~ Highly recommend!

I can say so many great things about this place but the best is truly the warmth and hospitality of the elderly man who runs this place. So sweet and kind and the breakfast was generous and so good!

“The best accommodation and the best experience in Hokkaido.”
The location was wonderful and the hosts were the best people ever! It is such a tranquil place where one can really relax and enjoy the charm of the Japanese countryside. Getting there is easy by car and it's the perfect place to explore the Abashiri area from. The breakfast and the kaiseki dinner that the host prepares are to die for!!! Everything is locally sourced and seasonal and it was really the best home cooked meal we have ever had. If you want to experience true Japanese hospitality and the nicest people ever, we highly recommend you stay here! We are looking forward to experience Anima no Sato during summer as well.

Everything. - owner are so kind and lively. There was snow storm on check out date and owner check the road to make sure we can drive out. Also allow late check out for us - breakfast and dinner are amazing. Home cook is the best and its delicious - little sheeps are so cute - There are sledge you can play

“Cozy farmhouse”
What a cozy farmhouse located in the suburb. It is enjoyable to sit next to the big windows to view the green grassland and the sky. The hosts are a very helpful couple. Wanna be back again!
