Overview
Convento de San Benito is a restored convent, set in the pretty Galician fishing port of A Guarda. The spacious rooms all have a french balcony, a minibar and a safe. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout. There is a bar and a relaxing lounge with an open fire. There is also a garden with a fountain. The San Benito Convent has an original chapel and a cloister. The library contains books from the 16th century. The hotel also has important collections of carvings and ceramics. It is set in the beautiful Rías Baixas region, a short drive from many beautiful beaches.

Everything. To have such a comfortable, beautiful space to sleep in and a rich historical environment to explore was magical. Excellent breakfast, and the staff were warmly welcoming and very helpful. A wonderful Camino interlude.

So very nice to stay in a “ historic building”. Loved the museum and the area. Close to laundromat and staff all over very friendly. Perfect place for a good nights rest if you are walking the Camino.
