Such good value for the price paid. The location at the top of Santa Trega mountain offers spectacular views of Portugal and Spain. The Castro Museum and Monte de Santa Tecla celtic village are definitely worth visiting. The room was huge with a balcony, sitting area with a view across to Portugal and a huge bathroom too. Everywhere was very clean, tea and coffee making facilities in the room were very welcome. We booked the hotel transfer from A Guard which was 5 euros each way picking up and dropping off at the same spot so your Camino walk is continuous. Timings were a little restrictive as the lady who runs the hotel does these transfers herself but you can also get a taxi which was 9 Euros. Restaurant hours were a little confusing and there is no evening meal option, but they did accommodate us at the end of the lunchtime hours and fod was very good with amazing views from the restaurant. The sunset and sunrise were the most spectacular i experienced during the whole Camino journey making for an unforgettable stay.

Check-in went very smooth, before 15:00 there's someone at reception and she was very friendly and spoke English. Fantastic location with free parking (which might fill up fast on a beautiful day). The views from the balcony were spectacular! Beds were very comfortable and we really liked the themed room, someone actually put in some work to make the decorations match and it's nice that it's not a standard hotel. And there's also a water cooker with tea and coffee provided. It's a great location if you want to go see the castros and visit the (free) small archeological museum across the street. And when you're done you can enjoy looking out over the river towards Portugal.

A fantastic hotel with the most incredible views! Rosa on reception made my stay truly wonderful (thank you Rosa!), my room was a beautiful surprise and I had the best night's sleep of my trip walking the camino de Santiago. I would love to return and stay here again some day. I highly recommend this hotel.

This property was amazing for it's spectacular views alone! It was amazing sitting on the balcony and enjoying the surroundings. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so spacious.
