Overview
This family-run guest house is just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Zwiesel. Gästehaus Steininger offers a 70 m² sun terrace and great panoramic views of surrounding Lower Bavarian countryside. The non-smoking rooms at Gästehaus Steininger are traditionally decorated and feature country wooden furniture as well as free WiFi. All include a TV and bathroom with shower, and most also have a balcony.Guests can find a shared fully equipped kitchen with a toaster, coffee machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, as well as a dining area. It is shared between 3 rooms. A bread roll service is available upon request. Gästehaus Steiniger has its own cellar for ski equipment, and the surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking or winter sports. Guests can also relax in the solarium or with a game of table tennis. On-site parking is free for guests, and Zwiesel Train Station is a 15-minute walk away.

The location is quiet and peaceful, and the guesthouse is cozy, charming, and traditionally decorated. The room was comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and it is close to the supermarkets. It is about 2 km from the station and maybe 1.5 km from the town center. The owner was also very kind and welcoming. The view from the balcony was stunning and more than made up for my little hike in the sun. I also received the GUTI card, which allowed free transport in the GUTI area, so getting around was much easier.

We stay at Gästehaus Steininger every time we come to this area. The pension is perfect for us in every way! Comfortable and clean room, friendly and very welcoming host, excellent location in a walking distance of the town center. Great views at the surrounding mountains from the spacious terrace. Plenty of parking space for our car. Fresh mountain air and peace and quiet for a well deserved good night sleep.

“Great stay”
Beautiful guest house with a friendly owner. Very good for kids because of the size and terrace along with garden. Very near to Bayerischer Wald and supermarkets and restaurants. Highly recommended and we would gladly come back again.
