“Lovely relaxing stay”

Great views of Zipolite beach coupled with a really nice swimming pool. It’s only a short walk up the hill from town but it makes it very relaxing. The host Lucia was fantastic too and made my stay very enjoyable.

“A comfortable, memorable stay at a stunning, sustainable Zipolite gem!”

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Biulú! Lucia and the staff were so warm and welcoming, and they were always a bright start to our day. They were communicative and helpful throughout our stay, too. Casa Biulú has a truly spectacular view looking out onto the ocean and Zipolite. The pool with lounge chairs was a refreshing, relaxing spot to cool off and enjoy said view. The daily continental breakfast was appreciated -- hot coffee, fresh fruit + granola, and cornbread... plus, if additionally desired, chilaquiles/omelets/juices/etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable -- clean, fan/air conditioner if it got too hot, a terrace with hammock, mini fridge, coffee maker, good Wifi, and bathroom with a decent shower. We love that this is an eco-friendly hotel managed with solar-powered electricity (not only sustainable but also helpful in case of any power outages, which intermittently occur in Zipolite). While it is more expensive than other options in Zipolite, the amenities, comfort, and exceptional service were worth it. We are so glad we chose Casa Biulú for our first time in Zipolite, and we would definitely stay here again!

“Not worth the place... Total NO”

This place is a NO... What you get for what you pay, not worth it. The room was not properly cleaned, bathroom is not fully closed, so even if you want a drop of privacy in there, you won't get it. From our room you could hear everything from outside (and vice-versa). They offer a breakfast, but is so basic that almost counts as nothing; plus the first day they told us what was included in it, and mentioned fresh orange juice, but by the day we were leaving, it turns out that was an extra and was never mentioned, owner and manager of the hotel were not nice at all and demanded the payment of that, even if the mistake was from them and they were aware of it... There are multiple other places in the area and even closer to the beach, with lower price and offering better service, cleaning and nicer staff. We spoke to other guests and we all had the same um comfortable experience. Additionally, if you need invoice from your payment, they take ages to have it ready to you and comes with mistakes and you have to be chasing them for corrections... A place to never come back...

Swimming pool

The property is very nice, you can't beat the view and the pool. Most rooms have private entrances, room was large, AC worked fine, shower was fine. Special thanks to Lucia - we felt welcomed and she along with her team was always there should anything go wrong (it didn't).

Very clean. Nice pool. Nice breakfast and great views of the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location a few minutes walk to all of the restaurants and shops

The view was simply amazing! It was so nice to hang out at the pool and also enjoy breakfast with the view over the ocean. The staff was always very kind. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast could have been more (small bowl of fruits two small pieces of bread with butter and jam and coffee). Though I believe the bread was always freshly baked. You can order from the menu. This hotel is not for persons in wheelchair or walking disability. It has many stairs and is on a mountain. You will have to walk 5-10 mins straight up. I personally enjoyed the walk.

“Perfect way to end our holiday. We loved it there and the staff were amazing!”

The views were incredible, staff were super helpful, room was comfortable and clean perfect for the three of us. The pool area was also great. Location was good too, really close to the main small town, beach and restaurants and bars. Although just be aware if you are staying as a family or have a disability which requires a wheelchair or reduced mobility there is a steep hill to the property and many stairs to carry luggage. This didn’t put us off though and we would definitely stay again.

Great hotel! great location on the hill. A nice climb up from the main bit to be high on the hill, the view was stunning. Federika (sorry if I misspelled!) is lovely although I had trouble communicating: my fault for having terrible Spanish and even worst Italian! This hotel has A/C and hot water, a rarity in Zipolite! Will stay again for sure.
