Overview
Standing on an authentic 18th Century plantation, this Louisa bed and breakfast features a 5-acre tree garden and a relaxing outdoor pool. Access to I-64 is less than 5 miles away. A fireplace and a private bathroom are found in each historic room of the Prospect Hill Inn & Restaurant. A seating area, fridge and coffee maker are also included. Guests of Prospect Hill are welcome to reserve a place at the elegant dining tables for a fine 4-course meal on Friday or Saturday. A wine reception is always held before the meal begins. The history of the plantation can be found both inside the original buildings and outside among the trees, many planted in 1840. Concierge services are also available. The Civil War Museum is 13 miles from Prospect Hill. Downtown Charlottesville is less than 20 miles away.

“An exceptional country inn in a majestic setting”
Prospect Hill is truly exceptional. One of the most beautiful settings for a country inn that we have ever seen. Every guest is treated like royalty. The house was built in the early 19th century and has been thoughtfully and sensitively restored. If you are planning a trip to Charlottesville, this is the best place to stay (2 night minimum).
