“A mixed bag”

Everything that was promoted about the property was accurate. It was the information that was missing that effected our rating. If you don't really enjoy ocean swimming but do love to walk along clean sandy beaches alongside wave action with no other people on the beach, and your own private lounge chairs and sunshade, this is the perfect place for you. Someone mentioned in their review that the waves were too loud. When we read that we laughed until we experienced it ourselves. The waves were strong enough that when they break on the beach the impact shakes the windows in the back of our bungalow (#3) and the sound woke us up from deep sleeps during the night. The groundskeeper was great - every time we needed him to assist taking our car away he was right there to help.

“Gorgeous beachfront oasis”

My beachfront bungalow was amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer! I had only booked one night at the end of my Zihua trip and I'm regretting not staying longer. The bungalow decor was perfect, from the lovely embroidered pillowcases, the bright and cheerful drapes, the smooth terra cotta tile floors, and the traditionally woven bed spread.The bed was huge, with plenty of pillows and super comfy. The ceiling fans and AC were powerful and kept me cool. The grounds around the property were all immaculately kept and I loved the cute covered front porch complete with table and chairs, plus a hanging woven chair. Everything was just lovely. The staff were also amazing and so very kind! I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and the people there! Would return in a heartbeat. Oh, and the cats!!! I love cats and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a few friendly felines.

“Peace, Quiet and Relaxation in Zihuatanejo!”

Everything. The property and unit more than met my expectations. The location is quiet and relaxing, right on the beach. The hostess, Maggie, and staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The entire property is beautiful and cozy, exactly what I was looking for. Our unit was welcoming, cozy and very clean. Highly recommend this stay for relaxing and enjoying beautiful Playa Blanca.

Loved the beautiful peaceful ocean front location! The quality of the villa and resort was incredible ! Host Maggie was delightful! 12 cats and 2 dogs! I loved it! Beautiful clean sparkling pools! Fabulous fully equipped outdoor kitchen! On the bus route!! No need to take cabs!! Even from the airport, a 5 min walk out of the airport, then take the bus for 17 pesos right to the resort!! Bus to Zihuatanejo and to ixtapa! Unbelievable vacation!!

This is a magical property operated by people who have put so much love into every detail. If your goal is to really relax, have a stunning beach almost entirely to yourself and have side adventures to authentic towns, this is the place for you! I can’t wait to return.

Bungalows Tree Tops is a wonderful unique property with a great laid back atmosphere. The property is nicely designed and beautifully built. The grounds and facilities are immaculate. The owners Maggy and Jeremy are wonderful hosts and they serve the best Mexican breakfast. Tree Tops is like a cottage escape with 2 well equipped outdoor kitchens, (for guests), eating areas, and loads of shady spots for lounging . It also has 2 small pools for cooling off or a bit of exercise. It was a great spot for ending our week in Zihuantanejo and a nice contrast to Zihua's touristy bustle. We will definitely book a longer stay there the next time we visit Zihuantanejo/Ixtapa.

Right next to the beach. Well kept and decorated property. Your own villa made it a special place to stay.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location was breathtaking. The hosts were very inviting and were always available if we needed anything. Our accommodation was spotless, and roomy. The grounds around the complex were beautiful and well maintained.
