The view is magnificient, in front of Tianmen Cave Mountain. The owner and his familly are 5 stars! He advises how the best way to get around the park and tries to buy the tickets at the best price possible. The food ( dinner) is delicious made for your familly. I higly recommend stay in this acommodation.

Every thing, the room, the bed, the view, the ubication and the staff of the hotel is very nice, they help us about all thing, reservation for the atractions, Issac explaid us about the trip in the atractions and he was Free pick up to the airport two ways, and the station of the Tianmen Mountain. The breakfast and the dinner has delicius thank you for all your atention for us and thank you for your mother, she are very nice person, we have yours in us heart.

This homestay was an amazing place to stay to visit Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie Park. The view was incredible from the communal areas and from one of the bedrooms we booked. The staff were so friendly and helped us getting to our destinations including to Furong the morning we left which was so much easier than getting the train. You can also book all your tickets through this homestay which is great.

“Lovely homestay in Zhangjiajie”

This is a great home stay ran by a lovely family. It was the perfect blend of a hotel and a homestay, breakfast was amazing and cooked fresh each day. We also really liked the very cute dog. Isaac was very helpful and helped pick us up from the train station and take us back there at the end of our stay. The laundry service was very helpful and efficient. Highly recommend a stay here!

“It seemed to be too good to be true - but it was TRUE:)”

It's a family-run hotel, which provides you the highest hospitality and personal attention. The owner speaks English very well, you may contact him by WeChat or WhatsApp if you need anything. Lots of assistance in planning site-seeing visits (explaining routes, giving tips, booking tickets, etc.) - every single advice worked very well. Hotel itself is relatively small, with amazing views of Tianmen Mountain, swimming pool, and relax area around. You may take tea or coffee at any time for free in the reception, with a paid option for bar drinks. Breakfast is included in the price and also is home-made. If you leave before it, you may ask to pack it. Room is well equipped and convenient to stay even for longer visits.

“Amazing hotel and five star bedroom !!”

This hotel was the last of our trip and one of the best. This is a family business, and all the family is so welcoming! We haven’t seen a staff that kind and helpful, even if people here are very welcoming - this hotel is top level! In addition the price is very reasonable for the area and you get the best view of Tianmen mountain! It was so lovely to see the cave from our bedroom, as a last picture of our trip. “Amazing Place, Amazing people, unmatched views and vibes.”

The best place I have stayed at China! It made me love China even more. I want to start off saying thank you very much for the host. I’ve never seen hosting like it before. The rooms were amazing, the view was spectacular and the cleanliness was on point. I cannot afford the facilities one bit. They then arrange the whole experience for you so you don’t have to worry about a thing. They have been here for many years so they are well clued up with the area and everything in the local surroundings. The food was spectacular many thanks to the chef. The ideal Chinese breakfast you were required before a long day of walking at the national park. This is a family run business and it’s full of love. On max experience and how much kindness at the hotel. This is the greatest family business and I wish them all the success in the world.

Our stay was excellent. The establishment is run by a couple and their son. They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Their son helped us organise our days in the different parks of Zhangjiajie. The mother's breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We truly felt taken care of and highly recommend this place.

The people who run the place are super nice always keen to help. They pick up us to the train station and drop off to Tianmen mountain. They explain us all attractions around the city. We had diner once and it was delicious!!! Free breakfast that’s delicious as well. Counting the days to stay here again ☺️

“Amazing stay with super friendly hosts, great local breakfast, stunning views, and comfy rooms”

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it! The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they even picked us up from the airport at 9:30 p.m. The tips they gave us for visiting Zhangjiajie National Park and Tianmen Mountain were super helpful for planning our route, and we could easily book all the tickets directly through the accommodation. The breakfast was delicious and authentically local. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and the house dog was just adorable! Our room was modern, the beds were very comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful view of the greenery — such a lovely sight to wake up to every morning. We felt completely at home and would definitely stay here again every single time!

The Home stay is what it is. You are welcomed into the family home and it was so a great experience. The room was so spacious and has everything you need. We ate at the property and the food was amazing. Even the family dog was so cute

Another amazing stay at Heaven's Gate Homestay! Very friendly and caring hosts who really looked after us. Train station/Airport pick up and drop off, home cooked dinner and breakfast, dropping us off at various places and helping us book tickets for attractions and offering great advice to best explore Zhangjiajie. I always enjoy staying at Heaven's Gate Homestay and will definitely be back here in the future. I highly recommend to everyone.

Beautiful view on the Tianmen mountain. The manager was very friendly and helped us with transportation and visits.

The Tianmen mountain view is breathtaking. Room is very spacious. Breakfast is very good and they make it different everyday. The owner’s dad is a chef so we have dinner there and it is so good too. Feel like home. His mum cannot speak English but really pay attention to details. She can tell what we need in just a sec without using the translation. His wife is so helpful with ordering maccas for our kids as they are quite fussy. Thank you.
