Overview
Haus Hörnligrat offers self-catering accommodation with views of the Matterhorn and is just an 8-minute walk away from the centre of Zermatt and its train station. All apartments are furnished in modern Alpine-style and feature a a large living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV. There is also flat-screen TV and a private bathroom in each bedroom. A washing machine, a tumbler and a dishwasher are available. On request, fresh bread rolls can be delivered every morning and for a surcharge, it is possible to enjoy breakfast in the Hotel Welschen, which is connected to the property. The next restaurants are within a range of just 140 metres from Haus Hörnligrat. A grocery shop can be found 600 metres from the property. Guests can use a private spa area with a sauna, a steam bath, a hot tub at a surcharge. The Sunnegga Express is just a 2-minute walk away. The Gornergratbahn Mountain Rack Railway is an 8-minute walk away. Haus Hörnligrat is accessible via a tunnel leading to a lift, which takes guests directly to the entrance of the house.

“Just wonderful!”
Very large apartment, comfortable, with 2 bathrooms (and bedrooms) and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect head-on view of the Matterhorn from the appartement and balcony. Private elevator to our apartment was a nice novelty. Absolutely wonderful indoor pool with all amenities and view of the Matterhorn, access to which was included for us in the price. Fully equipped brand new gym.

“Excellent stay in beautiful luxury apartment with Matterhorn views.”
We were met at the station and transferred to the apartment. The apartment was in a great location close to the town - 5 minutes walk but in a quiet location. The apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable with great views of the Matterhorn. We were also able to use the hotel facilities including pool and gym.

“Perfect stay for family”
We have everything we need. The apartment was fully equipped for self cooking. The location was good. 5 mins walk to the town n gornergrat railway. Bus stop was 2 mins away. Air Zermatt was within walking distance. The view was great n Matterhorn was clearly seen from our apartment.

“Zermatt perfection”
I cannot recommend Hörnligrat Apartments more. We got upgraded in the penthouse apartment (Solvay), and our host was extraordinarily accommodating, enabling us to check out late on Sunday instead of the initial check out time planned in the morning. The apartment was beautifully decorated, with wonderful views above Zermatt on the Matterhorn, and perfectly clean. The chimney added a really nice touch, and the location is perfect, right next to Sunegga lifts.

Host is very friendly. Christian contacted us before our arrived and offered to pick us up at Zermatt train station, it is very helpful, especially with our heavy luggage. He also send us to the Train station during check-out. The apartment is very beautiful with views of Matterhorn from the balcony. The location is above the sunnegga station, very convenient, 5 mins walk to Zermatt station.
