Overview
Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. WiFi in the entire building and transport from Zermatt Train Station from 07:00 o'clock to 21:00 o'clock are both offered for free. There is also an outdoor tennis court on site . Swiss cuisine and a selection of wines are served in the Matterhorn Restaurant. All rooms come with a minibar and tea and coffee making facilities. En-suite bathrooms include a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Guests can also make use of a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer and personal ski lockers. An Internet corner is available in the lobby. There is a Grill restaurant "Hornox" for meat and vegan dishes.

We loved our stay at alpen resort. The staff are very friendly. The resort is really nice as well. Zermatt was so great, we didn’t want to leave!!

The indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi was the best facilities in this resort but one of the water fall wasn't working unfortunately.

Excellent view of Matterhorn. Breakfast with variety. Comfortable family room with sofa and large balcony. Very friendly reception during check-in. Good spa, swimming pool, sauna, onset, etc. Generally most of the staff are friendly.

“An absolute gem in Zermatt”
From the moment we walked in the door the reception was incredible. Cosy fireplace, wooden interior and the hotel smelt very nice. Our room was very spacious with balcony overlooking the Matterhorn. The absolute highlight was the pool/wellness area which is so worth it, especially after days of going up mountains, train trips etc. Never felt so invigorated. We will be coming back some time in the future for sure!

This is an amazing hotel. We had a 16 day tour of Europe & this was our favourite hotel. Everything was excellent. We made a mistake with our booking & the lovely receptionist just sorted it effortlessly without making us feel embarrassed. Such rare humanity you rarely meet & it was so appreciated from this weary traveller. The room was outstanding. The spa & pool area was superb & the breakfast was spectacular. We were sorry we only had 1 day there. Highly recommend this hotel
