“Slice of heaven!”

Absolutely loved my stay here. Stayed for 3 nights but could have easily stayed longer. Beautiful haven away from the hustle & bustle of cities. Private beach, very limited WiFi & absolute peace. If you're looking to switch off for a couple of days this is the place to be. Didier & all the staff are so welcoming & go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. Would definitely return!

Wow! What a truly unforgettable experience. Didier the owner was so kind we actually built a friendship during my stay as a solo traveller. The facilities were outstanding for cooking etc and Bailey their dog was just the cherry on top. Book- you won't regret it!

The tent provided a great atmosphere. The location was superb. The hostess was incredibly friendly.

Wow - what can we say, this is a hidden gem. Not only is the location spectacular, but the staff team are exceptional and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are attentive should you have any questions. If you want great service, great views and activities, topped off with facilities to cook and dine with a sea views, this is where you should be booking. The facilities are clean and excellently maintained and there is opportunity to hire kayaks/mountain bikes/paddle boards etc. on arrival. The local restaurant serves locally sourced food at reasonable prices. I could not recommend staying here more highly.

Beautiful setting right by the sea. Staff were great and kitchen area and bar were spotless. Has a laid back traveller vibe but also quiet. Beds were comfy but very basic huts and some mosquitos.

View, staff and eco friendly idea were the best

A real get away with a really knowledgeable guide for anything you want to see and experience around Hvar. Beds are comfy and the tents are simple but nice and cosy

“Natural simplicity”

Castaway is true to its ethos and charming in its simplicity. The staff members are all lovely and run a relaxed, but efficient enough operation. The tents are small, but comfortable, and nothing beats listening to the calming sounds of the sea during the night. The beach is very close by and it is possible to rent kayaks and SUPs to add to the fun!
