An ideal location for those who are looking for pristine nature, romance and authentic experience. The house is situated on a steep slope, at the outskurts of a tiny village. You can see several neighbouring houses, but at a distance. The views are fantastic. While Zaovine Lake is out of sight, another (small but beautiful) lake is accessible within 5 min walk. There, one can sweem and go fishing. Our kids were absolutelly happy with small rustique entertainments: playing with kittens, feeding a toad, visiting neighbours to help miliking cows and get fresh milk and kaymak. People interested in plants and animals will be amazed with the local biodiversity. That includes Red List species of butterflies. The highlight is an endemic species of fir Picea omorica that grows within 10 minutes of walk from the house. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive though delicate. They arranged laundry for us. Also, when we asked if they had a tea kettle, they brought a new one the next day.

Fantastic place, beautiful location, nice accommodation with everything you need. We were welcomed by owner's father and young relative who spoke perfect English and translated for us. They were all very friendly and even left us a bottle of good rakija for free. Nice swimming in the dam nearby, it's 10 minutes walk! I will recommend Planinskoe selo to everyone.
