We were picked up from the airport in the middle of the night which was very nice. Slept in a cozy lodge with electricity and light. The surroundings are truly beautiful. The lake had enough water for swimming. The WiFi works well! Good location for a stopover, the beginning of the end of your holiday or to escape all the stress of the city. The owners are very hospitable and relaxed. The animals are funny! Good food…

“Great stay!”
We were traveling inland and Land of Promise has the perfect location. We really enjoyed the Reggae atmosphere with the animals and the beautiful music. We also saw a big Sloth 🦥 what was really cool. We will spend the night here again on our last night and will then use the drop off at the airport at night.

“Perfect place to end a holiday.”
Conveniently located near the airport, this is the perfect place for a lay over or for a last 1-2 nights in Suriname. Peaceful, quiet, relaxed. Sure, this is a rudimentary camp and not a 5-star hotel, but that should be clear from the pictures. Still, the room was good, the bed comfortable, and the atmosphere perfect. You can hang out in a hammock, dip into a lake, or just play with the animals and have a relaxed day. I would any time come back for a day and a pizza.
