“Beautiful hosts on a magical island”

Nori and Eri are outstanding hosts to a seaside b&b. We stayed here for two nights and wished we could have stayed for far longer. Nori picked us up from the ferry and we were greeted at our accommodation by his wife Eri. That afternoon we went snorkelling off the beach Ama. Each evening we had a beautiful meal of local cuisine washed down with beer. Breakfast was outstanding. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. On our last day we stored our bags at the accommodation and went snorkelling at Furuzamami beach which is probably the best snorkelling place on the island. Nori met us at the ferry with our bags and farewelled us. A memorable stay with beautiful hosts on a magical island.

Everything I read in all the reviews before I came is true...an excellent location, steps from the amazing Ama beach ( we swam next to a turtle yesterday!), spotlessly clean b and b, wonderful, friendly hosts and fabulous breakfasts and dinners ( we ate here every night). THE best place to stay on Zamami. Nori-san and Eri-san were excellent hosts and took care of us from our arrival on the island to boarding the ferry back to Naha. We can highly recommend this place!

“Exceptional”

Nori-san and Eri-san are exceptional hosts who made our stay on Zamami Island genuinely memorable. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with care, they met us at the ferry port and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Each morning, we were provided with fresh towels and bottled water, and breakfast was a highlight in itself because it was varied, thoughtfully prepared, and different every day. We especially appreciated that they asked about allergies on arrival, which made us feel well looked after. Dinner was equally impressive, and the chicken wings were easily some of the best we’ve had. What truly set this stay apart was their kindness and flexibility. Just before check-out, Nori-san kindly lent us snorkeling gear so we could head out for one last swim and we were lucky enough to see turtles!!! It was an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to end our time on the island. We only wish we spoke better Japanese so we could properly express our gratitude. Thank you again, Nori-san and Eri-san, I hope to visit again soon!

The property is in an incredible location. You could leave your room and be swimming with turtles on Ama beach within 45 seconds!

The experience on Zamami and at your hotel has been a beautiful and unforgettable one that we will look back on and cherish in the future. Home-cooked meals from a master chef and the above-and-beyond service from his wife. One of those places that really just make you feel welcome.

Location was amazing. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Food was fresh and delicious. Owners were kind, caring and went the extra mile (even saving us from some heavy rain while out on a walk)! Very relaxing time had by my family, our 3yo loved the turtles and beach

The hosts are extremely kind and friendly. As there are only two guest rooms, it feels a bit like you are privately hosted by friends in the best possible way. The rooms are large and clean, beds are comfortable and the food is amazingly delicious. The beach is only a 1min walk away, the ferry port about 20mins, but the owner kindly picked us up and even delivered our luggage back to the ferry. Great experience overall!

This is the perfect place, run by an absolute lovely couple. The accomodation, the location close to the beach, the outstanding food, the perfect amount of privacy topped by great hospitality. We loved everything and want to come back. This was by far outstanding and we thank you for this amazing time!

The loveliest hosts, completely amazing food and a perfect location right on the beach. Spacious and clean rooms with plenty of amenities and a rooftop to watch the stars!

“A Heart-warming Stay with Wonderful Hosts and Delicious Food！”

This was my second stay here. The owners are cheerful and charming. When I took the ferry from Zamami to Aka Island, they even stopped their car where they could see the ferry and waved goodbye—it was such a heart-warming gesture. The owner’s home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious. The mozuku seaweed tempura and chicken wings are especially outstanding. Breakfast includes both Western and Japanese options, with different dishes each day, so I never got bored. The room was clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed spending quiet time there as well. I’d love to come back again next year.

Very nice stay with spacious clean rooms and excellent food. Great large beds! 100 meters to Ama beach for nice snorkeling. For excellent snorkeling you need a boat trip. The host is a very friendly and helpful couple. Zamami as a whole has beautiful beaches and waters. But does not excel in tourist focused hospitality. Little services for tourists.

“10 Star Accommodation”

The couple who run this accomodation are just exceptional hosts and people. Nori-san is a chef, so his meals are just amazing. We stayed in every night just to eat his delicious food and to socialise with them. They were always so accomodating and went above and beyond for us. I have travelled a lot and this is by far the best accommodation I have ever experienced. I could not recommend Dining & Stay 38 Miyahara more highly.

“A home away from home”

The owners Nori-san and Eri-san were very hospitable and very hands on. They picked us up at the port to the hotel. The welcome drink was so refreshing. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast was served japanese style and western style. We also availed dinner there and the food was great! The chicken wings were so addictive, the sashimi was so fresh, the chahan was so flavorful. The location is close to the beach. We can't wait to be back.

The owners made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spacious and so clean and comfortable. A perfect location as well but the best part for us was the food that Nori cooked each morning and at their restaurant each night.
