“Worst stay ever had.”
The room had NOTHING of the items clearly listed in the booking (no safe, no coffee machine, no bathroom amenities, no bathrobe, NO FIRE ALARM, only one side table, no switch to the only side lamp, the lighting super bright and disagreeable, the worst window ever with an ugly net (when the room next door closes their window it makes you jump), super bad view on the hotel's backyard and waste, the pool full but zero lounge chair or anything, a disappointment not expected at all. The restaurant staff are nice and the food good but stretched thin when you can sit outside, ask the receptionist to send you someone 4 times yet for 20min and nobody comes (at which point I left to another place with my guest) and the hotel management seems to have this minibar/restaurant policy whereby they won't give you water!! I had each day something like half a liter for both the whole day and the kettle, and when you ask for a normal bottle they transfer you to the restaurant so that you pay for the water. I have never felt so unwelcome in any hotel in my life, there are other hotels close by that I just wish I knew about before I booked what I thought was the best (it surely was the most expensive) room in Zahle.
