Overview
The Esperia Resort & Spa is in Zafferana Etnea on the edge of the Mount Etna Regional Park. It offers 2 restaurants, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools and spacious, modern rooms with Ionian Sea views. Rooms at the Esperia Resort are all air conditioned and come with an LCD TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi. Each one has a balcony and en-suite bathroom. The Parco dei Principi restaurant serves classic Italian cuisine and dishes from the Etna area. The Giardino delle Esperidi wellness centre has a hot area with a sauna, Turkish bath and Kneipp hydrotherapy. It also has a heated indoor pool, hot tub and a relaxation area with starry ceilings. A selection of beauty treatments are available. Catania is 24 km from the hotel, while Mount Etna is 16 km away. Taormina is 40 minutes away by car.

“Once a 5-star, now rather a 4-star experience”
Excellent staff, very good breakfast, the small indoor playroom for kids was a great surprise, as well the pleasant, heated indoor pool - due to off season, it was only for us.

There are nice views from the hotel and the room we were given was really spacious. The location was great if you are visiting the area for Etna.
