The night we spent at the B&B, was great! There is a small kitchen which can be used and the breakfast included a lot of pasteries and local honey from the region (Zafferana is known for their amazing honey and it's locationnext to Etna ;) ). The host was really nice, she gave us a lot of great options to visit in the area and was there for every question and need we had. A very cozy place with a small amount of rooms. Just perfect for a little escape from busy Catania. :) Parking was possible just infornt of the B&B. Thanks for having us!

“Cost-efficient place near Etna.”

Near to Etna cable car, if you plan to go there in the morning. Nicely renovated kitchen (shared breakfast room) - large old stove, etc. It gives you the feeling of history, while feeling comfortable. Good value for money. The village center is quite nice, many restaurants, nice views.

Breakfast is served in an authentic traditional dining room, where you can admire a wood-fired oven once used for baking, cooking, and heating. The breakfast itself was truly fresh — warm bread and pastries, amazing olive oil made by the host, mozzarella, about seven different kinds of honey, and excellent coffee with no limits. I also really appreciated the very accommodating self check-in late after midnight :-) Right in front of the accommodation begins the access road to Mount Etna. Unfortunately, we didn’t have good weather — heavy fog and rain made it unsafe to continue to the summit — so we turned back. But we’ll definitely return another time and stay at the same place again.

Close to the the central piazza and it's region near Mount Etna. Francesco was very helpful and an excellent host.

Warm and friendly welcome in the evening, nice breakfast in the morning - served in the kitchen. where you can gather with other guests and exchange suggestions on the hikes or skitour activities. The staff is giving advice on where to eat and what to visit in the surroundings.
