Me and my mom had a great experience staying at Armando’s Home! Armando is amazing. He is really friendly, kind, and sincere. He helped us book a tour for mount Etna and showed us the amazing views from his property. Moreover, everything was very clean and for breakfast there was fruit, yoghurt, bread, and a variety of cakes (but also a delicious savory option). I would definitely recommend staying here!

Sig. Armando is the perfect host, very knowledgeable and super friendly - trust him when he recommends a restaurant or a walk or how to get up Mount Etna. Our room and adjacent bathroom were very comfortable and clean, with proper heating - nice touch because it does get chilly at night on Mount Etna. Both well equipped. The house has a terrace facing the sea (amazing sunrise) and from the main entrance you can see the summit of Etna. Perfect location for hiking holiday and beach. There is also a shared kitchen. Parking is available off-street (it's a private road, there is plenty and it's safe). Walking distance from the town centre - beware it's hilly. Highly recommended.

Armando's house is on a hill in a quiet street. The room is large, you have a fridge, coffee maker and kettle. You can cook in the shared kitchen. Armando serves breakfast in a large dining room with a terrace overlooking the sea. The homemade jams are great! Armando will recommend beautiful places to visit! Thanks Armando!

Armando warmly welcomed us and guided us with useful information about Mt Etna and where we could go for dinner. Breakfast was sensational...all prepared by Armando whose face lights up when serving guests. It felt like staying with family, and we loved that there were no other guests sharing the bathroom. Great value for money. Thankyou Armando!

“Beautiful view”

Every little thing was taken care of. The apartment offers everything the guest needs. The location is also great for visiting Etna.

Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was a parking spot and city centre could be easily reached on foot. Staff was extremely nice, and accommodating.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived - Armando already waited and helped us with parking. The room was a little cold (but we had a long flight behind us and were tired, cold was gone by mirning), but super clean, cozy and quiet. Easy to find and the view from the terrace was amazing. Armando was kind enough to give us good advice how to reach Etna and which part of it to see.

Armando's home is a perfect base for visiting Etna. It's a short drive away from the Etna South cable car station. The friendly and helpful host gives all information about options to visit the volcano park (without trying to sell any guided tours etc, which is a pleasant surprise at this sort of a location) and other places of interest. The house has a nice view to the sea (and the top of Etna in good weather).
