“A peaceful place with a great atmosphere and beautiful location”

Alberto was a very gracious host. He has a great B&B and rental homes in a fabulous location.The bed is very comfortable and the room is extremely quiet. You can walk 25 minutes and you are in the town of Zafferana Etna.5 minutes up the road walking from his property is a local Sicilian restaurant with traditional pasta dishes. Alberto is very friendly and helpful in providing information on where to go in the area. From his property you have great views of the sea and Mt. Etna. Josephine serves up amazing breakfasts of croissants, fresh fruit, home made brushecetta and optional yogurt and museil if you want it.

“Fabulous place to base yourself near Etna”

Lovely place to stay, super peaceful. Breakfast is copious with lovely coffee and fabulous views. Great views of Etna and the sea. Great place to stay, fab restaurant in walking distance. Zefferana Town is a 5min drive. Etna is really accessible from here, as is the coast. Alberto is fluent in english and has lots of great tips and ideas. He also makes his own wonderful etna wine. Idyllic place and highly recommend staying here.

Very friendly and helpful host, delicious breakfast, nice and spacious rooms, beautiful gardens. Alberto gave us wonderful tipps for visiting the area and organised a superb trip on mount Etna for us. Charming restaurants close by, one in walking distance.

Alberto is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and had lots of good advice for visiting the region. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the views were gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely too. Our stay here was a highlight of our trip to Sicily. Highly recommend!

The host is amazing, fluent in English, helpful with any questions or suggestions for restaurants etc.. The breakfast was superb, and comfortable beds, with good pillows.

“Wonderful honeymoon”

We spent 6 days of our honeymoon at Alberto's absolutely amazing B&B and we had the most wonderful time. Alberto was very kind and gave us many tips about where we could go and where we could eat. He also helped us with arrangements for a Mount Etna excursion which was really nice. The service was absolutely wonderful and the view over both the ocean and of Mt. Etna was absolutely incredible. He has such a gorgeous vineyard and incredibly relaxing cabins. The terrace with a pool is placed with such a magnificent view. Every morning we got fresh pastries and bread from the local bakery. And we also bought some of his wine. He also have a new, hopefully permanent tenant, in the little black cat Carlotta, whom was very cuddly and cute. Leaving his B&B was like leaving an old friend and we will be sure to stay in touch.

“A Sicilian dream”

The house was in a beautiful setting, almost like a movie set depicting a typical sicilian villa. The views were fantastic, you could see Etna on one side and Catania on the other. Alberto only takes a few people at a time, which made the place very private and we could enjoy the pool area for ourselves, very relaxing. Alberto is very kind and is always up for a chat but also respects your privacy. Breakfast was good.

“Great accommodation between the Mediterranean and Etna”

Friendly and helpful host, great location between the sea and mount etna. Special micro climate with fresh air and view, nearby restaurant with special pizza named after the host.

“A wonderful stay – highly recommended!”

As soon as you meet Alberto, you immediately feel at home – what a warm and welcoming person! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfast each morning: delicious food with an incredible view. The view of Mount Etna is truly something special. We also joined the shared meal on Tuesday, which was super tasty and a lovely way to connect with the other guests. The whole place has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Alberto’s tips were spot-on – from restaurants to hiking trails, he really knows the area and helped make our stay unforgettable. We would love to come back someday. Highly recommended!

“Pleasant 2 night stay in the countryside.”

This is a wooden cabin in the quiet grounds of a country property. It was clean with a comfortable bed and a modern shower room. Breakfasts are served outdoors when the weather is good. Typical Sicilian breakfast - well you're on holiday after all. We had lovely walks on the slopes of nearby Mount Etna. The nearby town is worth a visit. Helpful hosts.
