“Velvet Rooms and More 4 night stay”

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Velvet Rooms and More. We arrived and self checked in as per the instructions received from the owner without any issue. As soon as we walked into the reception we could tell how clean the room was going to be, and were not disappointed. The room itself was really spacious and well furnished with loads of storage. As described it was well equipped with iron, hairdryer, kettle and even an espresso machine which we used each morning. Was surprised to see our small fridge had been stocked with some refreshments such as bottled water, cans of coke, iced tea and milk which was a very nice touch. Each day after we returned to the room the towels had all been changed, surfaces wiped and even bed covers had been straightened (although we made it each day). Even the used espresso pods used were topped up daily, again another unexpected extra. The king-size bed was very comfy so no complaints getting a good night's sleep. Shower in the bathroom was fantastic. A small point to note is the surrounding area may give the impression of being run down but at no point did it put us off, and enjoyed the daily walk into the old town. There are a couple of bars/bistros directly outside the apartments but we never used them. Supermarket is only 5mins away and was great to collect a few items for our room. I would have no hesitation booking the Velvet Rooms again when we return to Croatia. Zadar is a lovely city filled with friendly people. A fantastic 4 night stay in a lovely city.🇭🇷

“Would Stay Again”

Location is quiet, a bit away from all the central mess, but it's also only 10 min walk to old town. There is a good cafe / bar in front of the apartments and local craft beer brewery with a taproom only 150m away. Communication was easy, host was responsive and friendly. We got an extra hour to check out and a space to store luggage on arrival / departure.

Great amenities, well located and easy to find

It was easy to find and check in. I didn't have a jacuzzi in my room, but didn't really need it. A capsule coffee machine was a nice touch

Excellent apartment with excellent facilities and lovely decoration. Not super central but a short walk to the center.

The room.was spotless and really looks and feels like a five star room in a hotel. The shower is huge and very comfortable. We are staying twice now. Highly recommended Oh and the breakfast across the road with our hosts provided a voucher for was amazing and huge Omelette! Just a 15 mo. Walk or two.min drive to the city.

My rates are for winter season, the room was cold and the not heated. They missed the winter cover... but the staff and the others was ok.
