Hotel is in a lovely woodland area about 4km outside Zadar. The hotel itself looks very run down when you drive up but its a pleasant surprise when you get inside. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana in Zadar was fantastic from start to finish. The location is truly special, with beautiful scenery right by the sea that made every moment feel relaxing and memorable. Waking up so close to the water and enjoying the peaceful coastal views added something extra to the whole experience. The rooms were modern, stylish, and very comfortable, with a clean and elegant design that made it easy to unwind after a day out. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged and maintained to a high standard. What really stood out, though, was the service. The team at reception were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The same level of care carried through to the bar and restaurant, where the staff were attentive, friendly, and created a warm, enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience—we’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zadar.

“Not recommended for a Spa Stay”

We used the à la cart restaurant for dinner and I have to say it was incredibly good. Also the staff at the restaurant was very friendly, professional and attentive. The room was also fine, we had everything we needed

“A very chilled, relaxing stay!”

The location and setting of this hotel is beautiful, our room overlooked parkland and sea. The hotel is probably the friendliest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff seem naturally friendly, happy and polite, nothing like the Americanised, corporate, fake, ‘have-a-nice-day’ smiley people we’ve encountered in other hotels on numerous occasions! It was impressive to hear waiting staff conversing with guests, in three or four languages. The food was glorious, we enjoyed the ‘fine dining’ experience every evening and the range of food on offer was outstanding. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and we liked having 2 single duvets on the large queen sized beds, we slept very well. The pool area was lovely, clean and tidy. Comfortable sun-loungers with pool towels readily available. We felt completely relaxed in this gorgeous hotel and will return.

“Lovely hotel - a bit too quiet in the evenings”

This is a very pleasant hotel, we were half board and ate in outside terrace. This is a lovely spot under the trees and the staff go to great lengths to keep the area free of leaves etc. The food was very good.

The whole place was amazing. Buffet was delicious for breakfast and the dinner options were incredible. Pool was big enough and good for swimming.

The hotel was ideally placed overlooking the sea, and about a 20 min walk to the water taxi to take you into Zadar old town.

“Beautiful hotel, grounds and staff”

From arrival all the way through to checkout we felt very looked after and cared for. The grounds are beautiful with basket swings and lots of nature to help you relax. The pool is immaculate and includes very high quality sun chairs and umbrellas for you to relax on. Our room was very modern with ice cold AC. I did read of some people saying the rooms need updating but I feel they are very modern with all the amenities you’d expect. Breakfast boasts a large buffet style offering with something for everyone. You can order cooked eggs in any style you want from the waiters along with fresh coffee. The staff are a credit to this business. They are all so kind and helpful. Thank you to all the team at Hotel Ariana for making our holiday one to remember!

Very calm atmosphere. Very nice staff. Access to adjacent hotel, if you want more activities and vibes. Great breakfast.

“Peaceful hotel with friendly staff”

Nice and peaceful hotel, with a beautiful garden and swimming pool + private access to the beach. Access to nearby hotel's spa and gym. Nicely decorated room and comfortable beds. Elaborate breakfast. Staff made some arrangements for me as a vegan which was definitely appreciated. Free parking is a plus.

Wonderful stuff, esoecially Kristijan and Maja, also the reception, kind and sweet. The pool is lovelly, the food is great, amazing dinner. The old charm wibe of the hotel is such a special thing of Adriana.

“Good four star hotel”

I think one of the better hotels in the region. Beautiful large pool and garden. I like to swim tracks and this pool is great. But cold water though. Large breakfast buffet with many options. Very kind and attentive staff. Clean room.
