Simply fabulous house in Zabbar with the warmest, friendliest welcome from the host (thank you for your kindness and the wealth of information you provided re; the island, places to visit, directions, places to eat). Ta Gilard is the prettiest house on the street and the inside has been renovated to the highest standard with love and dedication. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable, has everything you could possibly need and is in a great location for exploring the island. Birgu is a short pleasant stroll away where you can take the ferry to Valetta. Ta Gilard is the best accommodation we have rented in Europe, I highly recommend this place if you're visiting the island . . .you wont be disappointed. Thank you to the host for the beautiful hand made gift, I shall treasure it along with the memories of our trip.

Great newly renovated place, very comfortable and stylish house with 3 bedrooms. Very nice decor inside. Very helpful owners; when we met them to collect keys they gave us a lot of local informations and advices what to do and see. Also we received small gifts and bottle of wine. Shop with food close to the house. Highly recommended place.

Lovely traditional house with small outdoor spaces, beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, good shower and air conditioning (very important), area was handy for bus services. Hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful. No issues at all. The area was quiet and residential, untouristy, which suited us perfectly.

“A beautiful traditional home in a convenient area of Malta for exploring its history”

The beautiful home was even lovelier than the photos showed. Very spacious and immaculately clean. It had all the amenities we needed for our week. The family were very helpful in meeting us with the keys, and providing information both on arrival and throughout our stay. The house is set in a lovely area, among traditional houses. A 24hr supermarket is just a few minutes away. We could even walk to Birgu, and from there catch the water taxi to Valletta. Bus stops are close.

It was beautifully renovated, done with so much love making it incredibly homily. The hosts were helpful, friendly and simply quite lovely people. The area was also friendly with plenty of facilities yet so peaceful. Thank you for the kind gift.

We were visiting family in Zabbar and this was central, just 5 minutes from our family. The hosts were fab and the house was very well equipped. Just before we left the host gave us a beautiful parting gift and something for our girls too it was very thoughtful and kind 😊

Our vacation was very beautiful. We were excited about visiting Malta and this location made it even better. It was very comfortable and the design was really special. It made us feel like home. The accomodation was very well located and gaved us the chance to assist a specific festa in Malta where we really felt the maltesse vibes and saw the traditions. Our hosts were very kind and nice and helped us with all the informations and indications that we needed. I hope that i will be back soon in Malta and surely i will choose the same accomodation. “Exceptional”

Ta’ Girard is a beautiful townhouse in a residential street. The decor was full of character. The family greeted us at 2 am and showed us around the property and showed us where to get breakfast and suggested places to visit. When they came to check out they had made us all some beautiful handmade gifts and made us feel like family. We hope to visit again and are sad our dates are not available for our return trip in August .

VERY clean apartment,I would rate it 12/10, spacious, tastely equipped, everything you need is there. Location is in a quiet residential neighbour.

It was lovely to meet the owners, who were warm, friendly and helpful. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Zabbar is a quiet town and supplied with the little local, Maltese shops that I like (excellent bread and pastizzi) and supermarkets. Good bus links close to the house. Zabbar is a lovely characterful, Maltese town.

Incredibly quiet location. Lots of space for three people (three bedrooms). Inner yard with small balcony on the first floor. Everything was exceptionally clean and new. I have stayed in many apartments - that was the cleanest I have seen, spotless. Location close to Valletta, sizeable grocery store 5 min walk away, open 24h. Other shops are nearby. Safe area, few tourists, only locals. Bus stop to Valletta and other places 5 min walk. The owners of the apartment are great, they really take care of their property and their quests.

Everything it's was a beautiful property owner by an amazing couple. Our stay was perfect. Our gifts were beautiful. Helpful hosts where nothing was too much.

“Great accomodation”

The house was unlike anything we've seen so far. It was very clean, we had all the facilities we needed (toaster, kitchen pots, extra towels, drier etc) and each room had its own AC which was a must in July. The fact that each room has its own terrace or balcony is a big advantage if you want a bit of privacy while also being outside. The owners answered all our questions very fast online (months before our arrival) and offline, once we got there. We will definitely choose this accomodation again if we come back to Malta.
