Mina and her team were exceptional hosts and made us feel like VIPs. From the delicious breakfast and cozy, warm beds to the perfect location, it truly felt like a home away from home.

“Very cost stay above a local cafe and an amazing host”
Host was incredibly friendly and helpful letting us leave our ski gear and boots by the heater to dry overnight. She gave us amazing service and even helped us book for a local izakaya since it was phone booking only. Convenient location also being opposite Kogen ski gondola.

“Beautiful cosy place”
We absolutely loved the hosts!! They were so warm and friendly. Made us feel right at home. Was given breakfast every morning. The bread (toast) made by the host was the best toast ever.

“10/10 would stay again!”
The accommodation is a cozy little bed and breakfast on the 2nf floor of the cafe (may not be easy to tell from the pictures.) The host was very friendly and picked us up from the train station (which we could've very easily walked from given that it's only about 700m away.) She was very friendly and was able to point out some local spots to get food and a good rental shop for ski/snowboard gear. We were also given free breakfast w/ drink at the cafe in the morning and allowed to store our gear downstairs and after checkout as well.

“We three staied at Yakata for 5 nights, we all enjoyed the trip in Yuzawa.”
The hotel location is wonderful! Only 700 metes ( 5 minutes walk) from Echigo Yuzawa station; and 5 meters ( cross the main stree) to Yuzawa Kogen Ski Center. The owner are two beautiful and nice ladies. The facility was recently re-new and the hotel was very clean and clear. Wifi connection was good. My iPhone was lost at the Ishiuchi Ski Center, the owner drove her car and help me to retrieve my phone efficiently. The younger lady can speak good English so that she provided with some travel advise.
