A really cozy house in a quiet yet practical location. With the interior decor every detail has been thought of, both in and out of the house. Nirei is a wonderful host, she really respects your space and privacy so that we felt completely at ease during our stay. At the same time she is helpful and available whenever needed. She also prepared us probably the best breakfast we had during our trip. We would love to return some day.

Amazing, beautiful, and clean house. Love how eveything in the house is designed very cute and homy. Nirei-san is very accomodating and always make sure that i stay warm during my stay. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Sabao-kun the cat is very cute. The other cat, Inari-chan is so pretty even tho she’s very shy. Breakfast is amazing. Love the onsen in the house, it’s a very relaxing stay will definitely comeback next time.

Beautiful home nearby to Yufuin main street. House was super comfortable and clean. Host Nirei-san was super friendly and made effort to ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared! It is just a short walk to a Lawson nearby and the main tourist street. It is very convenient. The house is designed beautifully in true Japanese fashion, with lovely trinkets and items collected from Nirei-san's travels around the world. There is an Onsen inside the house with actual natural hot spring water - an amazing experience to have in the cold winter/spring weather. Thank you Nirei-san!

And we cannot forget Sabao-Kun, the a chic and adorable cat who brought an extra layer of joy to our stay. Though our time together was short, it was truly special and left us with such warm and happy memories. This is place we would love to visit again and wholeheratedly recommned to anyone looking for a wonaderful stay in Yufuin. “Peaceful & relaxing stay!”

This place looks like you’re in a fairy tale!! I love everything about this place! It look exactly how it looked like in the photo, but even better when you see it with your eyes! We booked a night here during our visit to Kyushu, my only regret was not staying longer!! This place is so relaxing and peaceful. I highly recommend to everyone who is considering, trust me, you will not regret! Location: no issues for us since we drive. Plus point, there is parking space. I had to admit that the place was a little hard to locate, since goggle map doesn’t show the private housing estate I do recommend using google maps beforehand so you recognise the surrounding before driving over. For those who are using trains, it’s walkable from the station, even though it may not be exactly convenient with suitcase but it’s doable! Privacy: 10/10! The host did not interrupt or disturb during our stay except the time where she came out to speak to us. You pretty much paying for the entire space to yourself! Amenities: private onsen! It was such a great experience using a housing private onsen and the bathroom was really big & spacious. I do recommend bringing your own toothbrush & toothpaste! Breakfast: this was included and I was lucky to had a chance to try Nirei-san’s cooking. The Japanese breakfast was really delicious and the plating was on point!! Gochisosama! Room: you’ll get a full Japanese experience by sleeping on tatami beds! Really comfortable spacious as well. Cleanliness is 10/10! Host: she’s a gem! She’s so accommodating and friendly as well! I feel very comfortable speaking with her. There’s also a resident cat who was friendly and curious during our visit. What I love about this place is that the serenity of the place, very peaceful and you’ll hear the sound of the nature. So peaceful that I took a nap during the day! I did took a short walk at 7am and I love the surrounding of the place. I’m glad I chose this beautiful place to stay!

It’s my best homestay experience. Nirei, the host is incredibly welcoming and nice. She has the biggest heart and a beautiful soul! I feel like going home! Nirei speaks fluent English and she shares many life experiences with us. The place is very clean and location is great. Easy accessible to the main street. Homemade Japanese breakfast is very delicious. I highly recommend you visit Imi Ola House when you travel to Yufu! I’ll definitely come back again!

Probably our favorite stay in Japan :) Nirei was so nice and also was her house with beaufiful decor and a very cute cat. We enjoyed a lot talking to Nirei and the food she made us :). Thank you! Hope you visit us one day :)

I am very impressed with Nirei who is kind, courtesous and aspiring. We had some nice talk. First time to take a trip with my family to Kyushu, and the accommodation made them enjoy the experience in Yufuin-chō. BTW, the breakfast for two day morning amazed us in different way.

Breakfast is perfect, and the landlady treat us very kindly, I forgot to take my wine and cake, and she already packed those for me and waited for me. It was really a nice experience staying here, and she got good taste on the furniture and all the decorations, all these details remained such wonderful memories for me and my partner. I’ll stay longer if I visit Yufuin again!

The house has only one room for guests, so travelers can rest in such a quiet and lovely place. We were almost stuck in Yufuin due to the heavy snow and couldn't drive back to Fukuoka, but the host was so helpful and tried her best to help us. So much appreciated!!

I loved every minute of my stay at Imi Ola and will definitely recommend to my friends. The home is really lovely and very comfortable, at a good location near the train station, but in a quiet area, where you can really relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The home also has a private onsen, with the right amount of temperature so you can stay for long and soothe aching muscles. The host is amazing - she engaged in conversation that made you feel you were staying with a friend (and has the most gorgeous, sweet cat). She even dropped me off at Lake Kinrin and picked me up at the end of the day, she doesn't have to do that but it was a lifesaver, really. She also made a delicious japanese breakfast in the morning, it was a perfect way to cap my stay. Thank you very much! I cannot say enough good things about Imi Ola and will definitely book again when I return to Yufuin.
