“Amazing house in an excellent location”

We loved the house, it was huge, with plenty of room for us. It was very clean and well kept and it had all of the amenities that you need when staying, especially in the kitchen. It was a particularly hot few days when we stayed and the bottom and middle floors have an air conditioning unit. The highlight for us was the American sized pool table, which we used a lot during our stay. The lounge area had a decent sized TV with Netflix and Disney+ available. The location was excellent, right near the main town square with just a few minutes walking. There were even a couple of excellent bars just a minute or so walk from the house which we also made use of, notably Mary's Irish Pub and Kaffee Bazaar. The owner was very friendly and polite and she made us feel very welcome and she also showed us around the house when we arrived. She also showed us a gated parking space which was a 1 minute walk away. There is some parking right outside of the house (which you have to pay for), but you get 30 minutes free to unload your car. We will definitely be staying again and we highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Ypres.

The house was immaculate! Absolutely spotless. The property was much bigger than we had anticipated and so well equipped. Having a pool table was a treat and provided a lot of fun, also a full sauna room with bath robes. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware. Everywhere was spacious and comfortable and was furnished with style and quality. The location was ideal, very quiet but only a two minute walk to the Grote Markt with a wide choice of restaurants. Approx 12 minute walk to Menin Gate. Having secure gated parking near by was a bonus. We stayed as an adult family and we would highly recommend this property. Having been to Ieper a number of times this would now be my first choice accommodation.

An excellent location, being within a short walk from the city centre, and just along from Kaffee Bazaar, a very good bar. The property is in immaculate condition, throughout, and has several features such as a pool table and sauna, which you would not normally expect. The hosts, Ina and Joost were very friendly and welcoming and communicated very well regarding arrangements for access.

Large spacious period house, finished to very high standard, very clean, centrally located in a quiet street off the main square.

The location of the property was superb and the hosts had thought of everything. Private parking space was ideal and the sauna/ pool table was the icing on the cake! Martin’s house is the best property we have stayed in.

“A very enjoyable stay in a lovely property”

We contacted our hosts about 30 minutes before arrival, so that they could meet us. This all went well. On arrival we were greeted and shown all around the house to make sure we knew where everything was. They even showed me to a private, secure parking space very near the property. The house was recently renovated and all the contents were brand new. Everything was 'smart' including the kettle! A great touch was the pool table on the ground floor which kept us occupied for hours. There was a fully kitted second kitchen/utility room on the ground floor, a spacious kitchen diner and living room on the first floor, as well as luxury bathroom and sauna! On the second floor were three very comfortable bedrooms with lovely views towards the centre of the town.

Everything. Very nice, well presented, clean, perfect location. Ina and Joost were extremely helpful and made us feel at home. Perfect base for sightseeing the local area and amenities and very comfortable to relax there.

Wonderful location and very nice hosts. The flat was amazing and there is so much to do in the Ypres area that we didn't even have time to use the sauna or play pool. Would definitely recommend!!
