Very pleasant owner, who went out of her way to make us welcome and advise on the history of Ieper and its surrounding area , so significant in World War One. Breakfast was very good.

Everything! Amazing location and free parking just in front. Great and welcoming hosts - Karen is so knowledgeable and perfect to suggest outings/places to visit. We had the room on the ground floor, which was actually ok and not noisy at all. Big spacious bathroom and plenty of towels.

Our hosts were wonderful. Helpful and kind with lots of local knowledge. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast good. It is a great place to stay with ample free parking opposite the house and within easy walking distance of the centre. We would come here again.

Karen was friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave us great local knowledge and tips. The apartment was spotless and roomy for the 3 of us with all we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and the location was fantastic for getting to the Menin Gate. Excellent overall.

Breakfast was excellent. Super range of food including cereals, a wide variety of meats and cheeses, lovely fresh bread and pastries and delicious, ripe fruit! Only improvement needed is to the coffee which wasn’t hot enough!!!!

“Lovely Breakfast and friendly host”
We were in the top floor suite with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge. It was nice and the breakfast was very good. Karen the host was excellent, very friendly and welcoming , knowledgeable and pleasant. There were towels in the rooms and shower gel. Tea, coffee, biscuits and cream with a kettle and cups in the room. I would have preferred milk as cream does not go with tea really it is fine with coffee. There is a ground floor room which is ideal for those with less mobility the apartment we were in was on the 2 nd floor with steep stairs which were ok for us, but just a warning for those leaks mobile to request a ground floor room. It was 10 minute walk to the cathedral and Main Street and another 5 - 10 mins to the Menin Gate itself. We witnessed The Last Post at the Menin Gate at 8pm, it was very moving. We visited Tyne Cot cemetery and a couple of other cemeteries. Passendale Museum and Flanders Museum are well with a visit.
