Ok, but way to expensive for what it is. We had much nicer, more comfortable rooms for the same price and sometimes even cheaper. So no, not good value

Located within easy walking distance of the station. Homely atmosphere, very hospitable host. Everything very well laid out, user friendly and kept clean. We enjoyed a comfortable stay and were glad to have visited a small timber-milling town on our way to see the Sakura on Mt Yoshino.

Beautiful town, nice location, not crowded. Amazing host, caring and friendly. I guess the place attracts warm and nice people. I liked the surroundings - a huge difference from Tokyo or Kyoto, extra peaceful, smelling of wood because there are many wood factories around, riverside nearby, the groceries are 7 mins away (24/7) and the closest station around 15 minutes. The facilities are simple, nothing fancy, but then, there’s everything you need: heater in a room, comfy Japanese toilets, washing machine, dryer, and a kitchen for everyone to use with basic necessities (like tea, oil, sugar and salt) in place so one can cook there. We had pleasant neighbors in other rooms so evenings in the kitchen were also cozy. Also, the host lets leave the luggage for a few hours after checkout so gives one more possibility to see the mountains and forests of Yoshino.

Incredibly thoughtful owner, an entire house for guests with a lively shared area and a very well equipped kitchen. Each room has a lock and everything was clean. Host had all the information needed for a good stay in Yoshino.

I left the house at 6.30 am. because there are no cherry blossom in Yoshino, that reason is no the house fault. the house was too far from station.

House with Tatami guestroom, one can use the well-equipped kitchen and living-room. Located not far from Kombini & Supermarket. Yoshinojingu is famous for his wood-industry, there is the smell a fresh cut cedar in the air, about 10 Min walk from trainstation to Yoshino. The Host speaks some English, young couple with kid

“Amazing authenic Japanese experience”

Oh my God this is a magical experience! First of all both Kiko and Hisa are the kindest people! Kiko spent hours helping tweek our travel plans and planning the best route based on our interests. Hisa took us in his lovely car with Kiko next morning to a special place in the mountains to see Sakura as it was a bit late for the Sakura in the national park. We spent an amazing day together and then went in the afternoon to the national park. When we came back in the evening they invited us for a house dinner with the son and mother of low of the owner Hisa and another friend visiting from out of town and honestly no words for the experience. An incridible Japan authentic thing! In short saw Sakura, met with amazing people, had a japanese dinner party and got serious help with our travel plans. I could say its the highlight of our trip! The house is very nice, room was big, everything is clean and functional including self service laundry. Thank you so much for everything and see you again one day!

“Cozy Guesthouse, Great Host”

Excellent little spot! Wonderful host, he speaks some English and will tell you all about the area. We stayed in the Japanese-style room, the futons were very comfortable and warm. As it is a gueshouse, there are shared spaces for guests to use - a fully equipped kitchen, loungeroom, a simple bathroom and 2 toilets. Free wifi throughout. Please be considerate of other guests and neighbouring houses regarding noise, especially at night. About a 12 min walk to Yoshinojingu Station (1 stop away from Yoshino Station), there is a convenience store about 8 min walk away, and there is an awesome chinese restaurant near Yoshinojingu Station. Highly recommend this place!

“Great experience with great hospitality.”

The staff was super friendly and helpful. That alone is worth coming here. The front room is so cozy and there is a massage machine. Location wise you can do Yoshino by walk during a day going up and back and you could even choose the quiet path starting north. There is nothing to do see but it is tranquil as you also don't see the hordes of tourists.

Kind and informative owner. Good location for Yoshino if you have a car. Safe parking and good access. Lots of kitchen facilities.
