Overview

These stylish apartments are located on Micklegate and Tanner Row in York. Arranged around a traditional courtyard, they offer contemporary accommodation with free WiFi, 5 minutes’ walk from York Train Station. The Lawrance Luxury Serviced Apartments are air conditioned and all come with a cosy lounge area with a sofa and HDTV. The modern kitchens include a washing machine, dishwasher, oven and microwave. There are various bars, restaurants and shops within a 5 minutes’ walk from the property and the historic centre is just a 10 minutes’ walk away across the River Ouse. The 5-star sister Tanner Row property features individually air-conditioned apartments with glass fixtures and fittings, and luxurious linens. The Lawrance apartments are within a 10 minutes’ walk of York Minster, York Theatre and York Art Gallery, while York Castle is less than half a mile away. Micklegate Bar, a historic 12th century gateway to the city, is 3 minutes’ walk away.

Classy apartment within the City walls of York.

Great location with easy access to the Railway Station and the city centre. Check in was easy and the information provided was very good to facilitate this. We were in Apartment 16 Stonegate on Tanner Row. This was larger than we’d expected and although it was in the basement, there is a clever skylight at one end which brings natural light in to the lounge / kitchen area. It felt like a very luxurious stay for us and we would stay again.

We loved it and would recommend it, but the downside side is you don’t get told about the price of the car park stay £40

It was brilliant spotlessly clean, comfortable and very inviting great start to the visit in York.

Gorgeous apartment

Beautiful decor. Great location. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It was central but really quiet. We could easily walk into the centre and there were some lovely local shops and cafes. Check in and admin were all easy. Everything was good.

Perfect for a couples weekend in York

We were provided check in instructions that were easy to follow so our arrival was smooth and simple. The property is such a central location, in walking distance of the major spots. Room was in fantastic condition, very clean, great amenities. Bed was also super comfy.

Inside the city walls, comfortable clean accommodation

A large open plan apartment with a very well equipped kitchenette, great shower / bath, secure access, 10 minutes walk from the bridge leading to the Minster (25mins), about 20 minutes walk to the shambles, lots of restaurants, pubs bistro food joints generally very close to the apartment.

The fine printGetting into the property: The keys are in a lock box on location. Please note, some apartments have a view of an internal courtyard. Should you prefer a street-view apartment, please place a request with the reception team. These are subject to availability. Please note that each apartment is different. If you suffer from claustrophobia, please contact the property in order to find the right apartment for you. Children and dogs are only allowed in some apartments. Please check the apartments' descriptions to confirm if that apartment allows/does not allow children and small dogs When booking a 1-bedroom deluxe apartment or suite, guests will be located to our 5-star property on Tanner Row. When booking a Studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom apartment, guests will be located at our 4-star property on Micklegate. For bookings made with Free Cancellation, we require a 20% deposit upfront to secure the reservation and the final balance is due 1 month prior to the stay. If the booking is within the month we require the full payment for the stay upfront. This is fully refundable up until 21 days prior to the stay. If you were to cancel the reservation between 20-9 days you will be liable for 50% of the deposit and if you were to cancel the stay any time after this you will be liable for 100% of the deposit. For Advance Purchase Rate bookings, full payment will be taken at the time of booking. Payment will be taken using the card you provided on Booking.com. If payment is unsuccessful on booking, you will be notified and will have 24 hours to provide updated card details. If the details are not provided within this time, we will cancel the booking. Reception hours are from 10:30 until 19:00 from Monday to Saturday, and from 9:00 until 15:00 on Sunday. Please kindly note that reception times may vary. As per our terms and conditions for all group bookings we require a security/damage deposit of £100.00 per apartment. This is payable one month prior to your arrival date. The security/damage deposit is refundable after departure once the apartments have been checked by our housekeeping team.
