For the price it was an excellent stay. Very local less than 2 minutes from the bridge. Everything was clean, smelt lovely the owners gave me a tour and an explanation of the property and suggestions on what to visit. There are also lots of leaflets to give you inspiration on what to do.

This property is cozy, comfortable and modern exactly like the photos and the bathroom was gorgeous. The host couldn’t be more welcoming and happy to have us. I will definitely be booking again!

2nd visit & will always be our 1st choice accommodation when visiting York. It's a gem of a find, great communication from a super host. Room has everything you would want including fridge with large ensuite bathroom with bath & separate shower. Location is brilliant too. Cant fault it.

We loved everything about our stay. Host was super friendly and warmly greeted us when we arrived. The room was very clean and tidy. Spacious too! Location was great as all of the touristy spots were very walkable from the apartment. One of our best stays!

Friendly welcome, great location

“Perfect location. Beautiful accommodation”

I have nothing negative to say about this property. Myself and my sister were met at the door by Mike. He gave us a lovely welcome and showed us around his beautiful house. There is a full functional kitchen downstairs with everything you would need if you wished to use it. The bedroom was outstanding, exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable and bathroom has a large shower and large bath. Only a stone throw away from the town centre and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Perfect location and perfect accommodation. Definitely worth a stay if visiting York.

“A cozy and well-equipped apartment in a central and convenient location”

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique apartment in York. It’s located close to the heart of the city. The place has a lot of charm, as it used to be an ice cream factory, and the owner, Mike, has turned it into a cozy and functional space. Mike also lives in the apartment, which makes communication easy. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, perfect if you prefer to cook your own meals instead of eating out every day. There’s also a small fridge and a kettle in the room, which are very handy for keeping drinks cold or making tea or coffee. Altogether, it’s a very practical and pleasant place to stay.

I really liked the fact that although the property is near the centre, it's far enough away so that you don't hear too much noise.
