“Perfect. 10/10”

This was one of the nicest properties I’ve stayed in - possibly due to the attention to detail. When we opened the door the first thing that hit us was the ‘clean’ smell, and the whole place was immaculate. The space is used beautifully - from the tiny kitchen to the cleverly hidden fridge freezer. The bathroom was beautiful, and the host went above and beyond with provisions - a beautiful fresh, crusty loaf, with butter, eggs, milk, every kind of jam you can think of, fresh orange juice, chocolate biscuits, tea, coffee, yoghurt, cereal, granola… the list was endless. I stayed here with my sister, and found the sofa bed to be very comfortable. It really was a lovely stay. I’d recommend it for a girlie break, like we had, or a romantic hideaway for couples, or just a great base to explore York. We would definitely stay here again - absolutely lovely property. The Location was great, with added bonus of private parking pass. Check in was seamless. The apartment has everything you need, it was clean and the welcome pack was really good and appreciated. A Nice gesture. The host was extremely helpful and answered all our queries quickly. Definitely would stay again at this lovely appartments.

“So quiet, tranquil and very stylish”

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous apartment. The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were so many little extras, such as cotton buds, nail files, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and even though we didn't need these ourselves they were nice little touches. As was the beautiful fresh red roses in the living area. It was about a 20 minute walk into York where there are so many unique shops and eateries. The breakfast was great with natural yoghurt, granola, bread for toast and a huge variety of jams. Above all it was so quiet and relaxing. Sitting at the breakfast table watching birds and squirrels in the park opposite was fabulous. Communication before our stay with the owners was excellent. We highly recommend.

The host had great communication, giving us some useful information and extra tips. They also went above and beyond with the hospitality, extra pillows to accommodate my comfort, bits for the kitchen which were just wonderful. The accommodation was gorgeous, a lovely bit of space for a night in York, in a lovely, quiet area. We enjoyed our stay here. Not too far from the centre but a bus stop close by which was great. “Stylish, elegant GB stay”

Charming, comfortable stay. Every detail considered. Quiet, comfortable lodging. Beautiful garden. Close to all amenities, we walked everywhere. Eleanore, our host checked in and provided breakfast food, coffee, tea. Felt like we were really experiencing the warmth and style of GB.

Communication was great, a few bits in the fridge and kitchen were really nice. As i have to return to York I will be definitely seeing if this place is free first

“Wonderful Stay for 1st Visit to York”

Everything, it was exceptionally clean. So many things available which you don’t normally get, ideal for parents with a baby. Found the whole apartment very comfortable, lovely bed and the bathroom was lovely. There was fresh milk, orange juice, eggs and yoghurts, with a lovely array of mini jams, tea, coffee etc. Both my wife and I had a very comfortable stay and found the 26 minute walk into York very nice rather than waiting for buses.

Excellent communication from host with everything in the accomodation you could ask for. Amazing sleep on the sofa bed, and lovely welcome hamper for breakfast.

“Fabulous stay”

Had an amazing stay here, and I would not stay anywhere else if returning to York. The attention to detail was superb and had everything I needed to for a welcoming stay. The welcome pack of fresh bread, butter, yoghurt, and milk was such a treat. The convenience of not needing to worry about finding a convenience store in the cold, dark, and wet evening was most appreciated. Added plus for free parking in York was also a bonus.

Everything, we loved it. Home from home and we will be back in September and all other times we come to York. Eleanor is a charming host and provided everything we needed for breakfast and late night snacks :-). Is a lovely square, quiet despite being near the city and great to have parking there.

Nice host, shared with us on the best way to get into town. Provided much breakfast items which we could not finished. It’s a cosy little small house, part of the host’s house basement with a living room, bedroom, a small kitchen and toilet. We could cook a meal on one of the nights. Value for money 👍
