“Relaxing stay in lovely village”

What a gorgeous place to stay, very comfortable and spacious for three of us. Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. Great parking and walking distance to a nice pub and lovely meal at The Waterfront. Very quick drive into York too. We will hopefully return!

Such a cute place to stay in beautiful Naburn. Right in the heart of the village & everything needed in the room. It was cozy & well thought out. There were even 2 complementary beers in the little fridge. The garden is beautiful & well tendered & great to relax in- weather permitting. Would definitely return.

Excellent stay great location with the pub and river just up the road. A very modern studio apartment very clean and practical good location with a quaint little garden. A computable bed excellent sleep.

Cosy, clean and comfortable. Cute little garden and nice little touches such as milk tea etc. Easy to get into York centre and the pub in the village was great. Breakfast at the marina waterfront cafe was amazing but recommend booking a table.

“Beautiful accommodation , brilliant for a couple plus a sofa bed”

Great hosts,very friendly and welcoming, spotlessly clean accommodation, lovely touches like a welcome card, Budweiser and milk in the fridge and answered my messages immediately which is brilliant. Very comfortable bed, small kitchen, but everything you needed and a lovely shower. Lovely courtyard to sit and soak up the sunshine too, and on site safe parking. Great location, bus stop to York opposite , 2 minute walk to a good pub for food, marina 3 mins walk also for food, and great walks and cycle track into Bishopthorpe, Selby and York. Will definitely recommend and will be back. Thankyou Janette and Colin.

Loved the peaceful, sunny garden. Safe parking was a great advantage. Comfortable apartment. Everything needed was there. Direction and access instructions were accurate and easy to follow. Loved the village.

“Beautiful cosy cottage”

The communication with the owners before our arrival gave us all the information that we needed.Making check-in extremely easy. Everything that we needed to know once we arrived at the property too.(How everything worked etc) A lovely welcome, with freshly picked flowers two Easter eggs ,and two cold beers in the fridge! Very much appreciated. Tea ,Coffee and milk also supplied. The cottage smelt divine on entry.We could not fault the cleanliness. The decor is very pretty and tastefully done. A very comfortable bed added to the enjoyment of our stay. A pretty little garden with a seating area to relax in, on those sunny days,which we managed to do yesterday. The village of Naburn is quiet and pretty . A convenient bus stop is located close to the property. Unfortunately for us no Sunday service.Or Bank Holiday service. However, Uber taxi's to York ,cost between £8.50/£10.50.So,not really an issue. The village pub,is a two minute walk away,serving traditional pub food at reasonable prices. We also had breakfast at the Marina ,just a few minutes walk away. A lovely setting. Just disappointed that it closed at 5pm.It would have been nice sitting on the Riverside having a drink . If you enjoy walking Rosehip cottage would be a great base to explore the area. We would definitely recommend a stay here . Thank you Janette and Colin ! X

Rosehip is warm, stylish and comfortable. We loved how clean and fresh it felt. I think the pictures don't do it justice. I hope to visit when the garden is in bloom.

The whole place was spotless. It was well equipped and we were able to prepare a light snack in the evening. We only stayed for 1 night but if you were staying for longer, the private garden would be a lovely place to sit in. The owners were very friendly. Can highly recommend Rosehios.it was very quiet.

Loved the village like atmosphere that greeted us at Rose hips and only a short drive to hop on a bus into York which took about 15 mins. Our detached granny flat was very clean & tidy and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Local pub was great for dinner. Decided it was that great we needed to go back the next night for dinner as well and only a 2 minute walk. Loved the thoughtfulness of a couple of cool beverages in the fridge on arrival. Great communication with host, great directions and information sheet. Loved the outdoor garden and table to soak in the fresh air.
