“Tranquil getaway”
We received instructions for our arrival explaining how to enter and how to use hot tub. Our lodge had everything you would need. Heating was already on and so comfortable. Our location was so peaceful and quiet. There was a folder on the table with local attractions and restaurants. If your looking for a base or just a tranquil getaway this a perfect place.

“Hidden little gem!”
Absolutely stunning location, perfect for unwinding! Very quiet and peaceful. The decking area was well equipped with seating so we were able to enjoy the lake. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed to be able to cook whilst we were there. Very clean and comfortable. Best nights sleep I've had in a while as the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and easy to contact should we need them. Having a hot tub at the lodge was lovely although we had access to the local spa too for more facilities. One of our favourite holidays and we said from day one that we would be coming back again!

“Peaceful and beautiful stay”
The calmness/peacefulness and great location. The owners have done a brilliant job with the lodges. They’ve created a really lovely place. We’ll definitely be looking to book back up. The attentiveness of the owner is above expectations. On hand whenever you need them and popping to the properties to check on everyone.

“Relaxing escape”
Peaceful and relaxing with sun lounges on the deck over looking the lake. Beautifully decorated inside. Fully equipped kitchen and a gas BBQ on the deck. A bottle of wine and crisps in the kitchen was a very thoughtful and welcomed gift on arrival.

“Excellent stay”
The lodge was wonderful, clean, and in an idyllic setting overlooking the lake, a good base for exploring Visited York (30 mins) & Whitby (75 mins)
