The location is good, very close to the city walls and York Minster, library, and museum castle gardens. The breakfast is good, wish they had fruit as well. There was a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room. The staff considered my request for a quiet room and asked which room I would like to stay in.

Excellent location for the city. Rooms nice size, clean and comfortable. 3 pubs and a Sainsbury local within a couple of minutes. On the main road for the Rawcliffe park and ride.

“Comfortable, pleasant stay will be back”
Extremely handy for the Centre your right in the thick of it but being situated at the back there is no noise. The owner is extremely friendly & helpful showing you what key works for what door & where to go for breakfast. The breakfast is plentiful full English plus the usual fruit & muesli which you can help yourself to. Room substantial with a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Bathroom decent size, kettle with tea & coffee supplied. Hairdryer in the room so it has everything you need. There is also has an iron & ironing board hung up on the wall outside of the room

Perfect location — five minutes from Bootham Bar, with pubs, restaurants, and a Sainsbury's in between. The breakfasts were amazing, and I loved the coffee. Everyone was so friendly and kind.
