We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Collette was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay, even kindly giving us a lift into town, which was greatly appreciated. The location was beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly situated. The accommodation itself was spotless, fresh, comfortable, and very well maintained. We were delighted with the thoughtful touches, including the snacks, tea, and coffee provided. Everything was presented to a very high standard, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The attention to detail and warm hospitality really made this stay special.

“Amazing property and host”

Collette was a fantastic host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had an amazing experience. We were able to check in a little earlier, all amenities were provided and lots of little extra touches like milk and water were also provided. Lots of recommendations on nice places to eat, plus the lovely offer of a lift into York city centre. The property and hot tub were all clean and comfortable, it was a very pleasant weekend trip away.

We went here for our one year anniversary and We loved it ! The location is great it’s easy to get to places as the bus is so close to the property.We also enjoyed the hot tub especially at night time when the garden was lit up.The place was a lot quieter than we thought which we loved. The host was really lovely she couldn’t do enough for you and gave us a lift to the city centre on arrival. She also had tea, coffee and biscuits for us in the kitchen which was a really nice touch it felt like home. This is somewhere we will definitely be coming again!

We absolutely love our stay it was amazing and will definitely be staying again. Colette was an amazing host and could not do any more for us, she asked us if we needed a lift into town and told us where is best to go. I would highly recommend booking this place if you are visiting York.

Everything. The accommodation was clean, bright and very comfortable. Colette was a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble. The lights in the garden at night were like a little fairy grotto - enchanting. Good shower and kitchen and the bedroom was very romantic with the four poster bed. A lovely cosy get away. Hot tub was a bonus and great after a day of exploring York. Will return

We really enjoyed our stay here. Colette was so helpful even before we arrived. The little flat was so clean and had everything we needed - just the perfect little home from home. Colette gave us a lift into town (which didn’t take long at all) and pointed us in the right direction of some lovely little places. Couldn’t ask for a better host. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% go back in a heartbeat.

The property had everything we required for a relaxing 2 night stay, was like a home from home. Colette the owner went above & beyond to make sure we were happy, even taking us in her car to show us around after we arrived. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ‘Cosy Garden’ which was beautiful especially when all lit up in the evening.

The garden and the lights were beautiful. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing. And the accommodations had lovely decorating, the bedroom especially. Also easy to find with good parking

The house was clean and very comfy with everything you need. The owner was so kind and offered snacks, coffee, tea, we had anything we needed for the stay! Pity we couldn't enjoy the hot tub and the garden to the max due the weather and due the short stay.

We had a lovely stay here, could not fault it. Beautiful Cosy Garden with the luxury of a hot tub. Collette was fantastic on arrival and throughout our stay, felt like I had known her for years , so friendly and a great host. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and it was like being at home. So near to the city centre and the park and ride was so near to go into York. Also a couple of retail parks very close by. We absolutely loved our stay here, it is a gorgeous little place, so quiet, peaceful, clean and comfy, we could not fault our stay. Collette the host is a wonderful lady, she was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The place really is a hidden gem 💎 we will definitely be returning in the future.

Five Stars for Colette and her Beautiful Garden Retreat ​If you are visiting York, stay here! You will not be disappointed. The accommodation is stunning, beautiful decor in all rooms, spotless, and has everything you could possibly need. From a fully operational kitchen for cooking if staying in, to a sitting room with tv for quiet nights in. The hot tub and four-poster bed make it feel like a high-end retreat, and the garden with its twinkling evening lights is just magical. ​Colette is an absolute star, she picked us up from the station and gave us the best local recommendations for food and places to visit, as well as taking us back to York. Her hospitality is unmatched and she even provided us with snacks and fresh milk It’s a beautiful, homely place and we can’t wait to return! Thank you Colette 😊

Everything about our stay was perfect , Our host ,Colette , is one of life’s genuinely beautiful people , she goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need , stocks you up with snacks and hot drinks and even gave us a lift into York as part of our stay.The apartment is spotless and has everything you need, a real home away from home and a short walk to food places , supermarket and cinema. Thank you Colette , we will definitely be coming back.

What an amazing little find! Wouldn't stay anywhere else now when in York. What was there not to like - from the warm & friendly greeting, welcome snacks, teas & coffees, lift into York, hot tub & comfy four poster bed. Frequent bus service into York just a few minutes walk away too. 5 stars all round & a huge thank you to Colette x

The flat is furnished beautifully, very cosy and homey. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely at the end of the days. Collected was very hospitable and friendly and gave us a lift into York centre and gave us good recommendations for our stay. We have booked again already for August
