This is a wonderfully appointed house in a fantastic location. The check in was easy and the communication was excellent. The house is in a residential neighborhood so it was nice and quiet but is just a few minutes walk from pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops.

Close to City centre, very clean, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, large tv with freeview/netflix, free WiFi, good choice of board games, nice quiet area, pub 24 steps away and we were left a bottle of Prosecco and bar of chocolate.

“Excellent”
It felt like home. It was cosy and warm. The beds were very comfortable and we slept like babies. Everything a person would want in a home was available ie - Netflix, computer, coffee machine, mocha. Instructions were easy to follow for everything. The home was clean and decorated at a high level. The bathroom was perfect, the shower was amazing. Overall everything was more than perfect - highly recommended!!!!

“A great base for our family trip in York.”
This house was in an excellent location for us staying with two children, an easy walk (10-15 mins) into York centre and 5 min walk from a nearby park with playground. It was very close to the river which was nice and a short walk from a nice high street with some independent shops, a chippy, a small sainsburys etc. It had lots of space for the 4 of us and was well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for self catering and there were some interesting books and games also available in the cupboard in the living room.

“Would definitely come back and stay here again”
It was in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the city centre. The whole house was super clean and the hosts were very amenable about us leaving our suitcases there for a couple of hours after checkout time. We all felt very much at home and could have happily stayed longer. We also really loved the hamper that they left for us. Thanks!

Excellent location short walk from the station and into town. Lovely walk by the river. House was very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. Nice courtyard to sit out. Excellent communication from the host. Highly recommend.

The property had everything we needed even to the small detail of providing tea, coffee, sugar etc - will defo stay there again and would highly recommend it :-)
