We had made a reservation months in advance. This was during the time of a basketball competition. We arrived back in Yopal from a safari in Los Llanos to find that our booking had been cancelled the day before due to “internal reasons”. A very poor reason and apology from the staff - more advance notice should have been given as we had to drive around several other hotels to find a room for the night.
