Great location, excellent and comfortable room. Strongly recommended for any stay. Couple and family friendly.

1. Nice glass dome in Living area to see the northern lights 2. The Host was very welcoming. Our flight was late and we arrived around 2AM. She waited for us and gave us a brief tour of the house when we arrived.

“Fantastic warm and welcoming”

Hacho House was an oasis in the cold of Yellowknife. Beyond being literally warm and cosy, Ihsin is an amazing host and exudes warmth and welcome and care. She gave excellent advice and recommendations for what to do and how to get around and even loaned us face warmers. These made being outside immeasurably more comfortable on our aurora hunting and dog sledding adventures.

We used Hacho House on our last night in Yellowknife where we were planning to visit all the museums. The location is quite unbeatable. It's right on Frame Lake by the "Great Trails" and a few minutes walk to the Prince of Wales museum (a must see), the Municipal House, Mining monument and the Legislative Assembly (highly recommend). The house is unique in design and architecture and the the host inviting and lets you use the large living room and outdoor patio where we had our breakfast. The room itself was small but had all we needed with 2 very large, well supplied wash/bathrooms. It was quite sufficient for an overnight stay.

Loved the homey atmosphere, the furry pets, and the owner was so kind. The location was close to the core downtown, and we easily walked everywhere. The other guests staying were fun to get to know as well.

“Like the Aurora, this place is magical.”

Home owners put a lot of work into maintaining this place, if you need help just ask. The room ambience is really cozy, bed was the fluffiest ever, I love that the pets are always welcoming guests back. Breakfast available all day :) Aurora can sometimes be seen from this place also, just keep a look out.

Everything was perfect for its price. The vibe in the house is full of warmth and coziness. The pets in the house were very close to people. You probably can't find any other better places than Hacho House in Yellowknife.

“A diamond place to stay”

This is a diamond of Yellowknife. The hosts were fantastic and extremely helpful. It is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. The sleeping quarters may have been medium sized, the rest of the property certainly made up for it. The house is beautiful with one of the best lounge areas around. The entire property is laid out perfectly and provides a very homey feeling. Definitely a return venue. Thank you Ihsin Lee.
