“Nice big house in uphill location”
Big house, quite conformable specially if you go with dogs or in a larger group (4 - 6) as they have 2 doble beds upstairs and futons downtairs. We enjoyed the yakiniku device as well!

“Nice spot to recharge”
Quiet are. There was lots of bird life. in a leafy area away from traffic and noise. Futons were very comfortable BBQ (for 2000 yen hire) was fantastic Sitting on the balcony was relaxing We didn’t have a car and we enjoyed being in a quiet location. Taxi from Ito station was 5000yen it would be cheaper to get off at Izu-Kougen Train Station. You can walk towards IZU-Kougen station from the accommodation as it’s all downhill but there is also a bus which is about a 25 minute walk. Buses are not frequent.

“Nice perch up on a hill with a nice wood interior.”
Fairly secluded in Izu Kogen, yet close to the places we wanted to visit on the peninsula. Nice view and if you don't mind climbing several floors worth of steps outside it was pretty nice. Wood stove looks great for the winter. we stayed in July so didn't need it. Open the windows at night and it was nice cool breeze. I would stay again. Even though it is pet friendly, there was no animal hair on anything.
